She set the groceries in the kitchen and silently made the way to the office. She opened the door and smiled at him gently.

He looked over and smiled getting out of his chair. Raven pulled her close into his arms while talking on the phone.

She tried to stay silent as she snuggled close. "How's the meeting?" She mouthed.

“Great actually,” he mouthed back. “Alright…..perfect……I think I’ll be in work tomorrow I will notify you if I’m not. If I am give me the papers tomorrow so we can start. Alright….bye.” He hung up the phone with a large sigh. “That was so much. I have an hour till my next meeting.”

She smiled. "I'm so sorry babe, you're working so hard. You're doing it all for us and this house too." She said petting him. "Can I get you a cup of tea or anything?"

“Tea would be nice, thank you,” Raven smiled and pecked her lips. “A side of you also.”

She laughed and pulled herself off his lap. "We can do that later- for now you'll have to stick with tea." She smiled kissing his forehead. "Peppermint ok?"

“Okay,” he smiled watching Ira walk off.

She got up and started his tea humming. She quickly made two cups of tea and walked into the office with a warm smile. "Here babe. Cuddle time?" She asked setting the mugs down.

He took a couple sips as he nodded. Raven put down the cup and held out his arms. “Sit,” Raven said in a baby voice.

She smiled and sat in his lap. "Yay~" she cooed snuggling close. "Can we shower together again tonight?" She hummed.

“Definitely,” Raven smiled kissing Ira’s neck.

She smiled and nuzzled her nose into his neck. "Yay~" she hummed kissing his neck. "I can't wait."

“Hmm, neither can I,” he closed his eyes taking the warmth from Ira. “You’re so comfortable,” Raven mumbled.

She smiled. "I love snuggling with you~" she giggled.

“I love it too. You make me feel safe,” Raven held her tight. He grabbed the tea from behind her and drank some before putting it back down.

"Safe- safe from what?" She asked running her hand over his chest.

“I don’t know. I just feel calm around you. Like I can take a breather,” Raven looked into Ira’s eyes. He pulled a hair behind her ear. “I can be myself too.”

Ira smiled warmly and sat up a bit. "I can be me around you too. I find you very trusting. And you're lucky- I am suspicious of basically everyone." She chuckled some pecking his cheek.

He chuckled lightly. “I just hate being alone. When I’m at work I always have people around me or someone to talk to. When I came home you’re always there. When you left I was kind of afraid that you wouldn’t come back.”

She pouted. "Oh honey- I promise I'll come back to you. Always." She soothed petting his cheek.

“Okay…sorry for being a baby again,” he sighed.

"Sweetheart. I didn't mean it like that, I just want to reassure you that's all." She said pulling his chin to look at her kissing him softly.

“I know what you meant. It’s fine. I just need to stop myself from tearing up is all,” he smiled as a few tears fell. Raven wiped them away quickly.

"Oh babe." She said sympathetically. "What can I do to make you not feel upset?"

“I’m not upset, I’m happy,” he sniffled. “They’re happy tears.”

She gave him a soft look and sat up. "You sure about that?" She asked kissing him.

He kissed back softly holding Ira’s waist close. “Yeah…” he mumbled.

She hugged his neck loosely rubbing his cheek softly.

“What time is it?” Raven asked pulling away from Ira.
