"Someone who drives people to where they need to go," Hosea replied with a half smile. "In the same sense, I am going to attempt to get all of you where you need to be."

@ZephirFox8812

"Right. So a taxi driver? Sorry, I'm immortal and have been the fbi's prisoner for a few years, I missed a lot." Ethyn said rubbing the back of his head.

"Yeah, I heard about you actually," Hosea glanced in the rear view mirror at Ethyn. "I was making plans to get you out but then you managed it by yourself. Another reason for me to say that you don't need my help for anything other than putting you in the right place. Or the place you want to be. All of you." Kye opened his eyes and glanced side long at Hosea, but said nothing.

"I… may or may not have infiltrated a few of their most secure bases…" Hosea looked like he was obviously trying to hide a smile. "There is a probability that I tend to get into the places I am not suppose to be."
"That's an understatement," Kye muttered.

@ZephirFox8812

Ethyn gave him a genuine smile. "Like Zach! He's great at that kind of stuff! He'd get on so well with you guys if he was-" He fell silent and frowned, turning away from them to look out the window.

Ava wanted so badly to say something, anything, something to comfort Ethyn. But she couldn't, her mouth wouldn't move. And it didn't matter much anyways, since she knew how he felt. Ah, sweet, sweet Katie. No, a small voice inside her said. You can't do this to yourself again. Do what? She hadn't been doing anything to herself, had she? …had she? Regardless… it probably was her fault that she had let Katie go. She should've kept going, kept trying to find her. She should've… You're doing it to yourself again. Don't blame yourself. Don't listen to the voice, don't listen to it. Of course it's my fault, I was her caretaker…

Ethyn slipped forward and ended up sitting in the space between the front and back seats. He bit his finger and whined. "Please don't die because of me Zach." He muttered, "Don't come looking."

@ZephirFox8812

Ethyn clicked back to existence and turned with a struggle to Hosea. "Oh yeah, he's just in an unstable condition. He can't leave the house with out me there to sustain him and if he comes looking for me-" He trailed off, not sure how to continue in a way they would understand.

@Echo_6 group

"If he comes looking for you he'll die." Hosea finished. "So, where would be a good spot for me to take you so that you can find him?"

@ZephirFox8812

"Pretty much yeah." He said before biting his lip and trying not to break down. "I don't know! I can't remember where I started! I don't know where we are! I haven't been here since-" He went silent, thinking. "Late 18 hundreds? Early 19 hundreds?"

Hosea took notice of the coughing in the back. "Ethyn, by chance, that wouldn't happen to be caused by being away from Zach would it?"

@ZephirFox8812

Ethyn thought for a moment. "Maaaayyybe?" He was silent for a few seconds before adding. "It will definitely make it worse for him. And probably me because of that."

@Echo_6 group

"I ask because as we have gotten farther from the city it seems like your coughing has gotten worse," Hosea explained. "Makes me wonder if I should turn around and head back."

@ZephirFox8812

Ethyn loosened his hand and let the chain slip from his hand. Attached to end was a set of militry dogtags that Ethyn now let hang visibly around his neck.

Ava looked up, her eyes dull and devoid of emotion now, having heard a strange noise. It was the chink of the military dogtags clinking against each other as they fell, but they stopped short, hanging from Ethyn's neck on a chain. "You joined the military?" she asked, her voice tired, but she feigned interest, so she could have something to do.

@ZephirFox8812

"I'm more than three thousand years old, I've joined the military more than once." Ethyn replied, fiddling with a loose thread on his shirt. "These aren't mine though."

Hosea was quiet for a moment. Not pulling the car back onto the road. Both his hands on the wheel. They just sat there for several moments, and Kye had taken notice. "What's wrong?"
"We have company," Hosea stated calmly. Almost as soon as he said that a helicopter could be heard over head.
