I once again had a protective arm over Mal.

"Who are you and why do you think you can just break into Haven?" my words were calm but with a hint of a warning to it as my lightning pendant glowed.

While this was happening, the young woman from outside and seen the break in and rushed back into Haven, her handgun drawn.

She looked curiously at the pendant instead of answering, slowly bringing her blunted spear to it before the woman ran inside, startling her so much, the stranger threw her weapon at her with terrifying speed. If it wasn't smoothed out it would have cut you in seconds, but still, it likely wasn't best to throw something at someone with a gun.

The woman caught it an inch from her face, now really not in the best mood.

"Ember! Alright put the gun away you just scared her." I explain

"She better be able to explain herself." Ember grumbled

"I think s-oh you look hurt! are you okay?" I ask as I got a better look at the the mystery woman

Mallory was breathing heavily and watching the action unfold in front of her. She slowly got up from her place on the floor and came up behind Tempest.

She sighed and fell to her knees from the shock, her eyes closed tight as she whiped ash from her face and tried to shake the cinders from her hair but with no luck. "I'm fine…" She muttered through clenched teeth. The spear vanished from Ember's grasp into nothing, whoever this was seemed to be holding something, was it another weapon?

I kneeled by the woman's side "Miss we can help you we need to know why you-what do you have there?" I asked gently

She brought it closer to herself and tried to cover it up, but a little glimmer of gold and ochre peaked through her grip. "Why do you want to know?" She growled softly. But she looked to be calming down, though still protective of what she held.

Mallory was hesitant to help the lady. She wasn't sure what her intentions were, but they seemed devious.

"well for starters how did you find us?" I ask, not pressuring her any longer about what she was holding

She hesitated before answering "…You know that ship not too far from here? That's mine. I found this place when seeking shelter, but I heard your voices and thought you were from….. I thought you were dangerous. So I was going to take you by surprise and shatter you, but you're all harmless Earthlings, so I decided against it." They explained.

"Well I appreciate your change of mind, and we'll-" I glanced over at Ember "both help you in anyway we can"

"Are you sure you know what you're getting yourself into..?" She asked wearily, though with a faint smile.

"Trust me we're already dealing with some serious shit, we'll be able to help with whatever problems you're having." Ember commented, slowly relaxing around the woman "What's your name?" she asked as she holstered her gun.

Mallory was absaloutly silent unsure what to say. She had crossed arms and an eased expression.

"Then I guess you'll be able to handle traitorous rebels running from a tyrantc authority, knowing that they find the weak and kill them off due to being flaws in their perfect government." She smirked, knowing how overwhelming her words would be. "Rainbow Obsidian." She introduced herself, "You?" She tilted her eyebrows, her protective stance faltering.

Jake looks up after sleeping through the rukus and sees the beautiful strange woman. " Well hello miss, Names Jakobie Mathiesen. but you can call me Jake" he winked at her and smirked.

She gave Jake a smile and said: "Aww, how cute." And pat his head condescendingly.

Looks up at he shocked. then goes over to Mal.

(We should probably wait for Haven after this.)

Mallory looked at him strangely but didn't stop Jake. "What is?" She asked speaking for the first time to this lady.

(ah yeah jut figured id somewhat "catch up")
Jake then puts on a coat to cover up himself.

"Sorry kid, just the way of life." Rainbow snickered, finding this situation absolutely hilarious.

Jake then makes his hands cold, by making a ice sculpture then hands one of each to Mal and to Rainbow. Then he backs away into the wall.

She looked down at the ice statue, her expression returning to its usual resting bitch face. "What's this supposed to be?" She asked, holding it as if it wasn't even cold.

" it's supposed to be a rose, so maybe you wont try to kill me?" Jake then burrows in the coat, almost seeming scared.

"Rose..?" The way Rainbow said it sounded like she'd heard this word before, and she had mixed feelings about it. She looked at it then to Jake, then back to the rose, her face gaining the slightest hint of green. "I'll save it for later." She brought it to the stone on her shoulder and with a soft glow, put it in, making the ice rose disappear.

Mallory studied the thing with a hint of a smile. It was sweet, but why would he give one to her? It seemed strange…

Jake then starts to look at his burns on his hands. but puts them away just as quick…he remembered when the last time he did something like that…but he couldn't remember why.

Rainbow sat down and studied the thing in her hands, holding it gently. Whatever it was, it looked important to her. She swiped her thumb over it and seemed to forget anyone else was here, letting down her guard and allowing it to become visible to everyone.
