I nod slowly. "Sweet- you said it was called Haven?" I asked softly trying to keep up with him.

"Yeah I know we're real creative with the name." I joke a bit as we walked, sonn I had stopped by a establishment labeled as 'Neil's Tavern' I smiled a bit as I opened the door for Mal

I laughed and walked in the tavern. It felt cozy, yet run down. "This it?" I asked softly, not sounding too unimpressed.

"It's the gateway." I respond as I speak with the bartender "Neil pal it's been too long."

"Daniels my lad it has, stopping by for a drink or the shortcut?"

"Neil you know I'm still too young."

"Well lad that didn't stop ya from o-"

"Shortcut please!" I asked cutting him off

"And who's the lass?" Neil leaned over the counter a bit to get a better look. He had a bush-like ink black beard, his skin the same color as the creatures I had fought off. He wore a vest suit and dark slacks. His eyes looked at her's, a lamp-like glow emitting from them.

I smiled politely and stuck a hand out. "Nice to meet you sir, I'm Mallory." I greeted with a sweet tone:

"A new one I see. Well you're welcome to stop by here anytime you want lass, this isn't just a tavern." he shook her hand firmly and gave a glance at the door they just had entered from "Alright it's ready, you two be safe." He then started to clean the bartop with an old rag.
