Nik took a deep breath, letting it out shakily. "It is my fault though…" he replied quietly. "If I hadn't…if I…"

"It's not your fault." said Eclipse firmly. "You couldn't have helped it."

Nik tugged him closer, closing his eyes with a soft sigh. "Okay. I just…I…"

"I know." he said softly, "But wishing won't help…. preserverance and hope will…"

"But we can't get away." Nik whispered. "Because I can't walk at all anymore, and…and…"

Eclipse sighed, "We will get out. I don't know how yet but we will." he said softly. "We have to, somehow."

Nik nodded a little, letting out a soft, shaky breath. "Okay." he said quietly, closing his eyes.

Eclipse nodded, "I wish I could help you.." he said softly, "but I can't even help myself."

"'s okay…'s not your fault." Nik mumbled, arms still wrapped around Eclipse. The mark on his shoulder was shimmering from being so close to Eclipse.

The mark on Eclipse's hand was shimmering too,and he wanted nothing more than to hug the other at that moment, but the stupid ropes kept him from doing so. "I know… but still…." he said softly.
(When should they have their next encounter with Seren?)

Nik sighed, and leaned against the bars of the cell again. "I'm tired. But I…if I sleep." he was exhausted, dark circles beneath his eyes from not having slept in more than a day.

Eclipse sighed, "I really wish I could help…" he said softly, feeling pretty exhausted from not sleeping. He had been awake for the same amount of time, but with everything he wasn't feeling it as bad, though he did want to sleep.

Nik shrugged slightly. "I know…" he mumbled. He knew, too, that Seren wanted Nik to sleep. Wanted him to let the monster out.

Eclipse pushed his fear of what would happen if Nik couldn't hold on to the back of his mind, hoping that maybe if he did transform he might be able to communicate with him somehow, though that was probably impossible.

Nik took a deep breath. At least the pain would help force him to stay awake. Hopefully. He sighed softly.

Eclipse suddenly yawned, exhaustion hitting him as the adrenaline and emotions faded.

Nik opened his eyes, looking up at Eclipse. "You should sleep." he mumbled.

"Not without you." he said softly, "If you can't, then why should I?" he sighed, "I know it's stupid, but I want to support you, as long as I can."

Nik shook his head a little. "No, I…" he bit his lip. "It's better if you sleep." he said softly.

"Not witho-" he was cut off by another yawn, and he moved to try and stay awake, not anting to leave the other alone.

Nik sighed. "Please just go to sleep." he replied softly. He ran a hand through Eclipse's hair. "Please?"

Eclipse sighed, "You sure you're gonna be okay?" he looked over to the other worriedly, not wanting to leave him alone.

Nik nodded. "Yeah. I'll…I'll be fine." he replied quietly. "Sleep." he bit his lip, and ran a hand through Eclipse's hair again.

Eclipse sighed, moving so he was positioned more comfortably, nestled into Nik's side, "Wake me if you need to.." he said softly, before closing his yes, letting the comfoting sensation of the other's hand in his hair send him to sleep.

Nik nodded. He kept stroking Eclipse's hair as Eclipse fell asleep, holding the other male close.

Eclipse slept lightly, stirring at any sound that was made around them, but luckily not waking.
(Are you gonna have Nik transform at some point? Or is something else gonna happen?)

Nik felt his eyelids drooping with exhaustion.
