My hair is also really dark, but I just want blonde highlights. They’re slightly there, my hair is getting re done so you can notice the blonde more.
I have a reddish-brown hair color so I have to do mostly light colors

Just ignore them. I mean, listen to what they have to say to you, but try not to let it bother you too much. They're just going to be a prick and that won't change.

Find someone else LGBTQ+ and whisper jokes to them, it helps take some of the pressure off. Believe me, I've gone to too many churchy things not to know
