“Of course, I’ll stay. As long as you want me to.” he gave her a small smile.

She laid her head on him" just untill im not me anymore" she said.

”Ok.” he agreed, wrapping his arms around her. ”How will I know when that is?”

"you'll know trust me" she said.

”Alright.” he nodded and pressed another kiss to her cheek.

After awhile Betty's breathing stopped " Henry"! She yelled

Lysander jumped a little in surprise at Betty's sudden outburst. ”It’s alright, darling. I'm here.”

Henry raced into the room not a moment later. ”What’s wrong?”

Betty was shaking horribly her eyes flashing from red to blue back and forth which met her inner darkside was close to coming out

Lysander gripped Betty's hand carefully but tightly. ”It’s alright, Betty. I’m here.” he said comfortingly.

”Uh… Ly…” Henry said cautiously. ”Maybe you should back away now.”

Betty did her best to fight it tears dripping from her eyes

”I’m not leaving her.” Lysander stated firmly. ”You hear me, Betty. I'm not leaving you.”

”Ly. We don't know what she's going to do. Or how she’ll act.” Henry warned. ”I don't want to leave her either but I really think you should back up.”

Betty untangled herself from lysander

”It’s alright, Betty. You'll be fine. I'm right here.” Lysander promised her.

Henry knew his brother was ignoring him now but he would stay nearby, ready to get them both out of there if they needed to.

Betty's eyes turned blood red her fangs coming out " "go" she growled towards henry

Henry nodded briefly. ”I’m sorry.” he said before quickly grabbing Lysander and pulling him back towards the door.

”Let me go, damn you.” Lysander growled as he fought against Henry’s hold.

As soon as the door was locked Betty let out a piercing scream

Henry had to tighten his grip on Lysander to keep him from running back to Betty as they heard the scream. As much as hearing her make that sound hurt them both, he wasn't about to let Lysander do something stupid.

Lysander roared in reply to her scream. He wanted nothing more than to be back at her side, let her know that they were both safe… that he didn't abandon her.

You could hear cracking it sounded like Betty's bones were cracking

”Ok! What the Hell? Is this normal?” Henry asked Tyler, finally letting go of Lysander who fortunately did not open the door. Instead, Lysander just stared at it with a conflicted expression.

¨Um the darkness is trying to get out and betty´s containing it and its killing her¨ TYler said.

”Again?!?” Henry groaned, a little exasperated. ”What’s with her? All this self-sacrificing bull isn't going to just kill her anymore.” he said, hoping that Betty could hear him. ”Does she not realize that people care about her and what happens to them… Us when she does this?”

Henry glared at Tyler. ”I know all that. Only thing is she volunteered to let me drink from her. I never asked her to do that. She practically shoved her wrist into my mouth. And at the time I didn't want to break up with her. She was good enough for me… But…” he sighed, running his fingers through his hair. ”I’m glad for her and Ly, I really am. But neither of them are in this alone. Me and Ly have been through a lot, we've been soldiers in many wars. She doesn't need to protect us.”

Tyler Rolled her eyes " she's stronger than any of us and as his enternal she has no choice but to protect him"

”What?” Henry asked with a slight growl. ”I know she's his Eternal and that they both will do anything to protect each other but that's no reason for her to put herself through this.”
