"No. Why should I have?" Hatta replied, stuffing his sleeping bag into his hat.
"No. Why should I have?" Hatta replied, stuffing his sleeping bag into his hat.
"So you could have a working pocket watch?" Aliana suggested handing Hatta her sleeping bag.
"Why?" Hatta replied, stuffing her sleeping bag into his hat.
Aliana forced down another yawn that wanted to slip out, "To tell time?"
"But I don't need to tell time." Hatta replied calmly.
Aliana shrugged, "You might not, but I like to know the time of day."
Hatta shrugged, and got out of the tent. "Then why don't you have a watch?"
"I wasn't allowed to have a watch," Aliana said quietly to herself before stepping out of the tent. She gave a less depressing answer to Hatta, "I've never needed one before."
"Why?" Hatta asked slowly. "Why no watch?" he asked, and folded the tent up, putting it into his hat.
"I could always see a clock," Aliana responded carefully even though that wasn't true. Her truth was the people who raised her didn't let her have a lot of nice things, or if she wanted them she had to work hard for them. The only reason she had her golden locket is because it had been hers from the very beginning.
Hatta nodded slowly. "Oh. Alright." he shrugged slightly, and finished packing everything, putting it in his hat.
Aliana had har backpack on and looked to Hatta, "We're heading out now?"
Hatta nodded. "Yes. Unless there's something else you wanted to do?" he arched an eyebrow.
"No," Aliana shook her head, "I'm still waking up and not exactly all together."
"Alright." Hatta started walking, humming softly.
Aliana followed after Hatta brushing her hair out of her face.
Hatta hummed softly as they walked. He led her through the maze.
Aliana followed Hatta through keeping her hand off the walls even though she wanted to touch the stone occasionally.
Hatta sighed softly, and kept walking.
Aliana looked over at Hatta. She wished she could come up with a conversation topic to talk about, but nothing came to mind.
Hatta began to whistle.
"Wachta whistling?" Aliana asked finally.
Hatta stopped, and looked at her. "Hm. I don't…really know." he replied slowly.
"It's an interesting tune," Aliana commented stopping with him, "Maybe you overheard at some point and it stuck in your head."
Hatta chuckled. "Perhaps." he replied softly.
Aliana had a grin on, "Or you made it up on the spot. There's always an explanation for the unexplained."
Hatta shrugged, and grinned back. "I have no idea." he replied with a laugh.
Aliana laughed with him, "Well either way I quite like it."
Hatta smiled. "Mm. Thank you." he replied softly.
Aliana's smile turned soft, "Should we continue?"
