“Yup” Nino smiled and rocked on her heels “the source also created all the other religions that are known” her smile didn’t falter as she explained but she had stopped rocking on her heels

@Oakiin

"True enough," Belphegor said with a wink at Nino. "Though it's not a sentient thing, as far as anyone can tell. It set the worlds in motion, and keep them alive, but it's more like…and organ than a being. Like the heart of the multiverses. I've never actually seen it myself, of course; direct proximity would destroy lesser beings like ourselves."

Nino nodded and looked horrified as she spoke “Yeah it’s really scary to think about we turn to dust and fade from existence in the blink of an eye” her arms wrapped around her as she shivered from an unknown cold

Chandra's eyes widened as she looked away, a bit unnerved, but not wanting to admit it. This was news to her. Just by being around the Source could destroy her? That was spooky.

@Oakiin

"Welp! If that settles everything, we'll be on our way to find Lord Shiva," Belphegor said cheerfully, clapping its hands together. "Gangese, right this way. Chandra, you okay? You look a little pale."

@Oakiin

Belphegor led the way up the river, grumbling every now and then about what a long walk it was.
"Wish I could have teleported nearer," it muttered. "Stupid anti-magic stuff around here. Hope you guys like hiking."

@saor_illust school

"Wait… where exactly are we going? I know who we're going to, but like, what's the general direction?" Chandra asked, taking a deep breath to calm herself, glad they had moved on from the other subject.

@V01DtheFae group

"Not sure but at least it's pretty and somewhat chill in demeanor" Nino looked around taking in the settings and splashing the river a bit with her hand towards Chandra laughing

@Oakiin

(Sorry I've been gone guys! Been super busy!)
Belphegor cast an almost longing look at the river.
"Probably not a good idea, much as I want to join you there. We really should be getting a move on, unfortunately," it sighed wistfully.
"But to answer your question, Chandra, we're headed to the lace where this river starts. It originally flows down from the heavens, and it's might would have destroyed the earth. But Lord Shiva caught it in his hair, and softened the blow, so now it can flow down. Does that answer your question?"

@saor_illust school

(No problem!)
(Also, I've been puzzling over your word choice for these last two days now. "…headed to the lace where this river starts." What do you mean by "lace"? I can't find a definition of that word that would fit into the context… could you help?)

@Oakiin

(omg, I didn't even notice that, so sorry xDD I generally don't read my posts before I ost them, it's just the 'p' button not wanting to work apparently. It's just a typo, so sorry for the confusion!!! I'll start trying to be more careful lol xD)

@Oakiin

"He's a god," Belphegor said. "He's the god of destruction, and I've never seen him before, but I don't think he's depicted as being giant."

@V01DtheFae group

Nino pulled out a pocket scythe and cut her hair shorter than it was perfectly calm about the fact they are meeting with a god of destruction soon "He should be pretty calm if you look for the geysers or volcanoes notice how they are still"

@Oakiin

"I've spent a lot of time in India and Mesopotamia in general," Belphegor explained. "Most of us demons spent most of history on earth, hanging out. I've always liked Shiva. He's a chill dude. Plus he's got a bull, Nandi, and I love bulls. Don't worry about his being the god of destruction, by the way Chandra. He spends almost all his time meditating. He's really a peaceful guy."

@Oakiin

(Just so you guys know, I'm trying to figure out a system where I'm replying to my rps a least once every other day, but I have a ton of them, and I'm super busy, so I'm so sorry if I'm still late sometimes!)

@Oakiin

"It's complicated, but the general gist of it is that in Hindu mythology, destruction isn't a bad thing. It's just matter shifting from one form to another. Hardly anything in their mythology is violent, even Shiva, lord of disaster, Brahma, god of creation, and Vishnu, the maintainer, are all the same, three heads, part of one celestial being. It's really complicated, like I said, but everything revolves around peace and balance." Belphegor smiled. "The Indian people have always had their priorities right. Even demons aren't inherently evil in their mythology."
