Nik let out a wry chuckle. "Alright. And good. I knew you weren't, I just wanted to make that clear before you assumed anything." He shrugged.

"Understandable, but still…. I'm not an idiot." he said, feigning offence, making sure that it was clear he wasn't actually ofended.

Nik chuckled softly, and nodded. "I know." He replied, closing his eyes for a moment. He yawned quietly.

"Hey, don't you dare fall asleep on me!" Eclipse moved so that the other was in a less comfortable position.

Nik grumbled under his breath. "But I'm tired." he said in a whiny voice, opening his eyes and looking up at Eclipse grumpily.

"Yeah but I really don't feel like dying tonight, remember?" he said softly, rolling so that he was no longer the other's pillow, knowing discomfort would help keep him awake.

Nik groaned. "But you look yummy." he teased tiredly, looking over at Eclipse. "Just a little bite?" he was still teasing, a small smile dancing on his lips.

"If it keeps you awake go ahead" said Eclipse with exasperation, "Just don't kill me."

Nik frowned a little, and stopped. "Sorry." he muttered. He twitched in the ropes, and wondered if they would be left like this all night, or if someone would come and speak to them.

"It's alright.." said Eclipse, rolling back over to him, "Though… biting is a thought… maybe one of us can chew through the ropes?"

Nik frowned a little bit. "Uhm…I don't know." he bit his lip in thought, looking at Eclipse carefully. He took a deep breath. "I can't imagine these would taste very good." he replied.

(Idk. This was as far as I had planned lol)

(if they escaped now would that be a problem?)
"Does it matter if it means we can get away?" asked Eclipse, "I mean, I'm willing to try it if you're willing to bear with me on it."

(hmm…yeah. I had wanted them to be captured for a while longer. Maybe probably definitely some torture too because I'm a terrible, cruel person to my characters lol)

Nik nodded. "We can try." he agreed, looking at Eclipse. "I can do the…biting, if you prefer." he gave a small smile, thinking about what they could do once and if they got free.

(Mhmm…. I feel that. Uhm… Two things, I believe our other one has died entirely, because neither of us has done anything about it in a week.
Two, Eclipse tries their initial plan, then they get caught, perfect opportunity for punishment, and lookie here you have someone to torture to torture both out bois!)

(Alrighty. Oof yeah I've been…kinda waiting for you to answer that one XD. We can still continue if you want to?
Ooh perfect! Let's do that!)

Eclipse shook his head, "I'll do it," he said, "You're in enough pain already, just focus on not falling asleep." he started to move to find a spot to chew through the ropes.

Nik nodded a little. "Alright." he held still for Eclipse, staring up at the stars. He traced the constellations with his eyes, trying to keep himself awake that way.

Eclipse scooted down so he could chew at the ropes binding Nik's wrists, managing to to get through quite a bit before footsteps approached.

Nik gently tapped Eclipse's face with a hand when he saw someone coming, trying to get the other boy's attention and get him to stop. Someone approached, looking down at them with cold eyes.

Eclipse felt it, pulling back spitting out bits of rope, "What is it Nik?" he asked, before he noticed the thug. "Shit."

The person stared down at them. "So. Trying to escape, are you?" he asked, crouching and hauling Nik upright by the shirtfront, examining the spot where Eclipse had chewed on the rope.

Nik let out a soft, pained sound as pressure was put on his injuries.

Eclipse growled, "Let him go jerk!" he rolled towards him, aiming to bite, do anything to get him to stop hurting Nik.

The man growled at Eclipse, and dropped Nik down on top of him. "Stop that." he hissed. "Our leader will speak to you two in the morning, but if this behavior continues, you will be punished."

Eclipse grunted when the other was dropped on top of him, laying his head back as the guard left, cursing under his breath. "NIk… Nik you okay?"

Nik took a deep breath, rolling off of Eclipse. "I'm okay." he breathed out, closing his eyes for a moment. The wound on his leg had been torn open again, and was dripping blood.

Eclipse cursed when he saw it, "No you're not" he said, rolling to slam his head into the ground, "Fuck I'm an idiot…" he growled to himself.

"You aren't." Nik replied. "Really, you aren't. And I'll be…I'll be fine." he sighed softly, wishing he could reach out to Eclipse and touch him. "I will be. Please calm down."

Eclipse sighed, letting himself lay facedown in the dirt, "It's not okay. You're bleeding again because of my stupid Idea. I should've known they'd check on us…"

Nik wrinkled his nose. He rolled over and slapped Eclipse lightly with his hand. "Stop. I agreed to it. Don't beat yourself up about it."
