Bryn paced Sebastian's room, tugging anxiously on his collar. He'd been antsy all day, worried someone would come in and he'd be whipped again, and the collar seemed to tighten with every second of his distress until it felt like it was choking him. He shoved his fingers beneath the silver band, tugging it away from his neck with a soft whine.
Sebastian, once back home, made his way quickly to his room. He knew how much Bryn hated having his collar on, and he wanted to take it off as soon as possible. He opened the door, eyes falling immediately on Bryn as he paced. Sebastian dropped his bag with a soft thud, closing the door and quickly making his way over to take the collar off.
"Hey Bryn," he said lovingly, undoing the lock and setting the collar to the side.
"Sebastian!" Bryn gave him a flickery smile, the kind that came before all the nerves had left, and dropped his hands from the collar so Sebastian could get rid of it. He tossed his arms around the human once it was gone, pulling him into a crushing hug. "I missed you!"
Sebastian gave a smile, hugging Bryn back.
"I missed you too," he said, slightly strained for breath but not caring. Him being able to breath comfortably wasn't a concern for him; he just cared that Bryn wouldn't have to be alone anymore today.
"Did anything happen while I was gone?" Ever since the incident, he had asked Bryn that question every day.
Bryn paused, running over everything that had happened that day. "Um… the grouchy maid came in, but I wasn't doing anything wrong so she had to leave and then the babymaid came in and gave me half an apple for being a 'good boy' and staying out of the way while she cleaned." He called the youngest maid of the house the babymaid, seeing as he could never remember her actual name.
Sebastian nodded, listening intently.
"I'm glad nothing bad happened," he said, sighing softly in relief. He grinned cheesily when Bryn called the young maid the babymaid. He found it quite adorable.
Bryn blushed, shoving Sebastian's cheek with a soft pout to make him stop grinning that stupid adorable grin. "Oh hush, I just call her that 'cause I don't know her name!"
This all just made Sebastian grin more.
"And how many times have I tried to tell you it?" It would have easily been two or three times a day.
Bryn bit his lip. "Um… never?" The end of the word lifted hopefully, making it a question instead of a statement.
Sebastian chuckled lightheartedly.
"Not quite. Want me to tell you it again?" He was still holding Bryn in his arms, quite happy to able to be with Bryn after the dreariness of school. Especially after having to deal with Jacob again.
Bryn pouted, gently pulling Sebastian back onto the bed. He tipped back easily when his knees hit the mattress, pulling his human down on top of him. "Nah, I just want you to kiss me. How was ska-ool?" Bryn always seemed fascinated with the notion of school, never having gone to one himself.
Sebastian smiled at Bryn's words, happily giving him a kiss.
"Absolutely average. Jacob was being an ass as usual, CC managed to talk herself out of detention for talking too much, and I stayed as invisible as possible." Sebastian thought for a moment.
"Though, I did hear from a cousin of mine the family reunion is coming up. It'll be nice to see my uncle again."
Bryn kissed back, settling back with sparkly eyes as Sebastian spilled about his day. "Oh, fancy, I still get to stay in your room all day right?" He was teasing, but there was a hint of worry in his voice. Sebastian's family didn't seem like they would be very kind.
"Unfortunately, no. My father blabbed to all my relatives about you, and I'm sure they'll want to get a look at you." He sighed.
"Thankfully it's mom's side of the family's reunion. They're pretty relaxed on most things."
Bryn wilted slightly, curling closer to Sebastian's chest and trailing small kisses up his jaw. "Alright. You need to remind me about show positions and things like that, I… um… I'm afraid I don't really remember them."
Sebastian nodded slightly, one have going up to play with Bryn's hair, the other bring used to hold Bryn close.
"Okay. Though, I wish we didn't have to."
Bryn let out a shaky sigh when Sebastian started playing with his hair, going boneless against his chest. "Yeah. But it's better for me to learn them now than for me to not know them and get… punished."
(is it wrong that I'm laughing really hard because I got the sudden image of Bryn posing like a super model in his fancy show-offie clothes?)
"I'm not going to let anyone else touch you," Sebastian said firmly. "You're not going to get punished." He kissed Bryn's cheek, letting out a little sigh. He knew it would be difficult, but he really want going to let Bryn get hurt. No matter what.
(I mean I hope not cause I'm cracking up too now.)
Bryn nodded weakly, turning his head so he could kiss Sebastian on the lips. He trusted his human, so he wasn't gonna waste time worrying about what might happen if he was wrong. Even though he really wanted to. "Promise?"
(okay XD)
"I promise." Sebastian pulled a little closer, resting his head against Bryn's lightly. No one was going to be any where near Bryn without Sebastian right there during the reunion, and he was going to make it clear he would deal with Bryn himself if he did something "wrong." No one was going to be able to hurt Bryn.
"We'll get through this together."
Nerves still fluttered weakly in Bryn's stomach but Sebastian sounded so sure that all he could bring himself to do was nuzzle his jaw and squirm closer. "Alright. Thank you for… for being so good to me."
Sebastian went back to playing with Bryn's hair softly, fingers lightly rubbing his scalp.
"You deserve more," he said, "I'm just sorry I can't give it to you."
Bryn purred and leaned back into the petting, eyes falling shut with contentment. "You give me everything I've ever wanted, Sebastian."
Sebastian gave a small smile to see Bryn like this again after the talk they just had. He loved it when Bryn was happy. He'd do anything to keep Bryn that way.
"I'm glad," he said gently. "I want the best for you."
Bryn's eyes cracked open and he grinned, kissing Sebastian with a smile of his own. "You are the best for me, Sebastian." He pressed closer to his chest, nuzzling his neck again. "My human, so soft and kind and perfect."
"You're way too good at getting me to blush," Sebastian mumbled, leaning into the nuzzling. His face was starting to turn a sweet pink color.
Bryn smirked and kissed each of his cheeks, admiring the pretty pink flush he'd put there. "There's no such thing, Sebastian. You look so pretty when you blush, I like it."
This just made Sebastian blush more.
"I should hope you like it, with how much you do it." He smiled, though, not trying to argue with any of the compliments.
Bryn's smirk grew into a grin and he reached up to cup Sebastian's face, thumbs stroking over his cheekbones appreciatively. "I only do it because you need it," he teased, leaning forward to peck him on the lips.
Sebastian leaned his head into Bryn's hands, smiling at the kiss.
"Hm… I can't deny that." He looped both of his arms around Bryn's neck lightly, grinning.
