Bryn stifled a delighted laugh into his palm, grin so wide the edges of it peeked out past his fingers. He'd always liked babies and Sebastian was especially cute with his smile and his lisp. Bryn wanted to pull him from the video and pinch his little cheeks, but that was impossible so he settled for cooing happily and snuggling closer to Sebastian. "You were so cute!!"
Sebastian blushed deeper.
"N-nu-uh," Sebastian protested, burying his face against Bryn again, now completely embarrassed. He still managed a tiny smile though, happy to see Bryn grin so widely.
"You absolutely were!!" Bryn wriggled even closer, tossing his arms around Sebastian's neck to force some eye contact. "You were just darling with your little lisp and your smile and everything!!!"
Sebastian smiled at Bryn, chuckling embarrassedly.
"I was not," he said, putting his arms around Bryn again after pausing the video.
Bryn snuggled into his lap with a soft purr, bopping Sebastian gently on the nose. "You were, and you've just got to accept that."
"…Fine." Sebastian giggled at the nose touch, kissing Bryn's in return.
"If you say so." He put his phone away.
"Thank you for this."
Bryn grinned and kissed him softly. "I do say so, and I'm gonna keep saying it 'til you believe me. And anyways, it's no problem. I'm always happy to help you."
Sebastian smiled softly into the kiss.
"Mm… You're not the only one. I'll help you with anything." He snuggled against Bryn's shoulder, humming with content. Eventually, though, he seemed to remember something.
"It's Sunday, isn't it?" he groaned lightly. "Shit."
"I think so?" Bryn looked up at him with wide confused eyes, lips drawn together in a soft pout. "What's wrong with it being Sunday?"
"Sundays are the only days my dad asks to eat dinner with me. So we have some sort of interaction." He pulled Bryn a bit closer. Seems they had one more thing to get through before they could lock themselves away for the night.
Bryn cursed under his breath, snuggling closer with a soft huff. "Can't you just skip? I don't think I can deal with anything else today, not after being… punished."
Sebastian rubbed the back of Bryn's head softly.
"I'll figure something out," he said gently. He was still upset that someone had come into his room when he had made it clear that was not to happen, and especially angry he hasn't been able to protect Bryn.
Bryn let out a soft purr, pushing his head up into Sebastian's hand with muted happiness. "I… I don't wanna be left all alone again," he murmured. "Not again."
"That's not gonna happen," Sebastian promised, lacing his fingers of his free hand in Bryn's.
"I'll find a way for me to get out of this. It's just be me and you."
Bryn squeezed his hand softly, snuggling closer. "You promise?" He asked quietly, peering up at Sebastian from his spot on the human's lap.
"I promise. I'm not going to let you go through anything else today." He ran his fingers through Bryn's hair, then caressing his cheek.
Bryn let his eyes flutter shut at the reassurance, relaxing and leaning up into the touch with another soft purr. He was putty in Sebastian's hands, eager for more of the gentle petting.
Sebastian played gently with Bryn's hair, showering affection on him. He gave a him hum of content.
"I love you," he said quietly.
Bryn was muffling his rumbling purrs into Sebastian's legs, but he cracked open his eyes to give him a lazy smile when he spoke. "I love you too."
Bryn really did remind Sebastian of a cat sometimes. Still, he knew he'd never think of Bryn as a pet again. Sebastian returned the smile, running his fingers across Bryn's scalp lightly again.
A pleased shiver worked its way down Bryn's spine and he arched his back, pushing his head up higher into Sebastian's touch. He knew he was acting more animal than normal, but he was a demon. They weren't built the way humans were, it was only natural that he'd act differently. "How come you give such good pets?"
"I have a really good reason to," Sebastian said gently, smiling. He really didn't care how different Bryn reacted to things. He knew it would happen, so he wasn't really caught off guard.
Bryn laughed, smiling up at him softly. "Mhmm. You had to have had a cat or something when you were growing up, you do it so well."
"Perhaps," Sebastian said playfully. "And I'm glad I did." He kept rubbing Bryn's head, smiling. He was happy Bryn liked it so much.
Bryn let his eyes close again, purrs rumbling gently into Sebastian's leg. "I'm glad you did too. What was your cat like, did you have her when you were small and cute?"
"Yes, I did have one when I was younger," Sebastian admitted, chuckling.
"She was very old. My mom taught me how to be gentle."
Bryn couldn't help but smile. "You can't say you're not cute and then say shit like that, Sebastian. You're the most adorable human I've ever met."
Sebastian blushed.
"I am not cute," he protested lightly, not making much of it. Bryn could think that of him, but he wasn't going to of himself.
"You are," Bryn argued, reaching up to tangle a hand in Sebastian's hair and pull him down into a lazy kiss. "Humans in general are very cute, and you in specific are also very cute, and that combines to make you absolutely adorable."
Sebastian enjoyed the kiss, cheeks still a light red color.
"There's no way," he said, "I can't be absolutely adorable. I'll compromise as cute, but there's no way on Earth I'm adorable."
