Lucien smiled a little. "It's…I don't know. I didn't have a normal sibling thing, because René was always so sick. So…" He shrugged.

Aki shrugged before walking around the garden and gasped sharply as he walks to a small bush of flowers. "I've seen these…" he whispers quietly, his eyes wide. The memory was tugging at his mind, barely there. He remembered a womans laugh.

Lucien frowned a little. "This exact bush, or just this type? Those are…Red Tigers, I believe they're called."

"Yes…" He whispers softly, his eyes shutting. "I remember…" He sighed and pulled away. "Nothing. But.. I remember her laugh. I have that at least." He mutters.

"Who? Your…your mother?" Lucien asked slowly, gently rubbing Aki's back with a hand.

Aki nods slowly. "That's… that's all I remember…" he whispers, pulling away. "It's nothing…"

Lucien bit his lip, and didn't move to pursue him. "Oh. I'm…I'm sorry." He didn't know what to do. He wrung his hands together nervously.

He shook his head before standing and kissing Lucien's cheek. "It's fine… let's… let's go eat something."

Lucien nodded slowly. "Ah. Alright." He said, giving Aki a quick smile. He started walking towards the gate. If he was honest…he was glad to leave the garden. The ghost of his brother was too strong here.

Aki followed after him, but his mind lingered on the cards. He took a deep breath and tried to relax. He needed to calm down, and needed to remain calm. He shouldn't listen to the cards.

Lucien took his hand again, lacing their fingers together. "Aki? Are you alright?" he asked softly.

Aki starts before nodding slowly. "Yeah… Yeah I'm okay…" He mutters, smiling at the other and kissing the back of his palm. "I'll be fine."

Lucien studied him for a moment, then nodded. "Alright. You…you know you can talk to me anytime, right?"

Aki nods and smiles a little. "Thank you. I'll keep that in mind." He chuckles softly and looks down before sighing happily. "I'll always tell you if something is bothering me."

Lucien smiled a little in return. "Alright." he kissed the top of Aki's head.

Aki smiled a little at that before looking at Lucien. He kissed his cheek sweetly before lightly tightening his grip.

Lucien smiled, and tightened his own grip, gentle. He didn't want to accidentally hurt the other male.

Aki leaned into Lucien, a small sigh leaving his lips. "I'm ready for a nap… But food first…" He giggles.

Lucien chuckled softly. "Mm. Alright. Let's go get food, then." he started heading for the kitchens.

He smiled at the other and leaned into him as they walked to the kitchen. He sighed and looked around the palace.

Lucien walked into the kitchen, and started grabbing food.

Aki enters as well before grabbing one of the muffins and nibbling on it.

Lucien smiled at him, and kissed his forehead softly, then began to eat. His brown hair was still long, to his shoulders, with the pair of braids in the left side.

(so I had an idea…what if Lucien's father decides to host a ball so that Lucien can meet girls to maybe marry (even though he has zero interest in them) and instead of dancing with the girls who came, Lucien spends the first dances with Aki, and his father gets upset about it and there's a whole big showdown about it? Idk, just an idea that popped into my head)

(Oh! That would be interesting!)

He giggles softly at the kiss and leaned into Lucien. He sighed happily as he ate his muffin. "I'm glad you're okay." He mutters after a moment. He looked at the braids and his face falls a little. Lucien had done so much for him, but how could he ever repay the other?

Lucien wrapped an arm around him, and smiled. "Me too. I'm glad you came and saved me." he said, and kissed Aki's cheek.

Aki smiled a little bit. "Of course." He leans into the kiss to his cheek before offering a kind smile towards Lucien. He was glad that the escapade of the plague was over. His brows furrow as he thinks, before glancing at Lucien. "I really am grateful that you're letting me stay here… I don't think I can go back to the shop any time soon."

Lucien nodded, then smiled. "Well, visiting would be difficult if you were in the shop, so it's mostly just my selfish want to keep you here." He replied with a slightly teasing smile. "But you're welcome."

Aki laughed softly. "Even if it's selfish want. I really am grateful to be here." He kisses Lucien's cheek gently, squeezing his hand a little.

(so do you wanna do the ball idea?)

Lucien smiled, chuckling a little. "Mm. And I'm glad you're here." He replied, squeezing Aki's hand in return.

Aki smiled at that before shaking his head. "Where or what do you want to do?" He giggles softly, leaning into Lucien.
