She opened the book on the table and started flipping through the pages.
So many recipes.

She helped him up, then glared at the guy who pushed him, "get up. That's my seat anyway" she hissed
Archer glanced at the girl behind him in the cooking class. She was definitely a bit late and he had never seen her before. He was normally super shy, but being around Runaan had put him in a good mood so he decided to introduce himself. “Hi, I’m Archer. Are you new here?”
She looked up from the book and looked at Archer and then nodded. “Yeah, I’m new here. The new and late transfer student. My name’s Elizabeth by the way.”
“Nice to meet you,” Archer responded with a friendly smile. “How exactly did you end up here? It wouldn’t be my first choice, to be honest.” He chuckled softly.
Elizabeth giggled quietly and gave him a small smile. “It was the only school that was willing to accept me.” She suddenly frowned and adverted her eyes to the pages of the book.
“Oh, well welcome,” Archer replied, feeling a bit sheepish. This why I don’t talk to people, he thought, before noticing her book. “Do you like to read? My friends and I just started a book club.” He blushed slightly at the mention of it and hoped that Elizabeth didn’t notice.
She quickly looked up at Archer. That had gotten her interest, she never actually joined a club so she decided it was probably a good place to make some friends. “Yeah, I like to read. Is there any chance I can join this book club of yours?”
“Of course!” Archer exclaimed with a grin. “I’d love for you to join it! You’re only the fourth member but I think it might really take off!”
“Thanks!” She looked around for a bit before finally looking at him again. “Have you and your friends tried asking the other kids in classes to join?”
“Not yet, we just started it before this class,” he admitted. “I’ve been working on it.” He smiled sheepishly, blushing again at the idea of speaking to a lot of a people. “I’m kind of shy.”
She tapped her fingers on the desk lightly. “I understand, I’m more of the quiet and shy type than the outgoing and talkative type. I’ve been working on well. . not being so shy.”
“Me too,” Archer replied earnestly. “I can’t wait for you to meet the others in the book club! I only met them recently myself but they’re so cool.” He hoped it wasn’t totally obvious that he was definitely thinking about Runaan.
“I myself can’t wait to met them.” She looked across the classroom and sighed.
“Maybe if we work together we can convince other people to join the book club? Two shy people is better than one,” he joked, smiling.
Elizabeth laughed at his joke and started thinking. “You know what, Yeah, that’ll probably work.”
Archer grinned. “Okay, that sounds like a plan! Two introverts ask around for new club members!”
Young-Jae sat in the back quietly, listening to the two talk about that book club but not saying a word, as usual. He wasn’t even paying much attention to the class.
He growled and got up, walking away.
Jalo smiled. “Thank you! And I’m fine. Just a scratch!”
The cut was pretty bad…
Archer grinned. “Okay, that sounds like a plan! Two introverts ask around for new club members!”
“We’ll probably get more members if we ask them before they leave school.”
Ebony raised a brow "yeah right. Get up. Im taking you to the nurses office. Though she's off for the day, so i should be able to heal a cut like that." She shrugged, pulling him out of class with no permission and through the hallway towards the nurses office.
Archer grinned. “Okay, that sounds like a plan! Two introverts ask around for new club members!”
“We’ll probably get more members if we ask them before they leave school.”
“Okay, that sounds like a plan,” Archer replied, surveying everyone in the room. “Who should be our first victim?” he joked.
“How about that girl in the very front?”
Valentina was busy trying to figure out how the heck to make tomato sauce to really notice what was going on around her.
“How about that girl in the very front?”
“Mmm, I don’t know…” Archer said shyly, glancing around. “What about the guy in the back? He doesn’t seem very intimidating.”
“Hm, yeah.”
“Okay, I guess I can start and all,” Archer said, going through his seat and waiting for Elizabeth to follow. “Good thing the teacher of this class never pays attention to us.”
“Well, that’s good.” She said as she followed him.
“Hey, do you want to join our book club? We could really use some more members,” Archer said to Young-Jae.
He looked up at them with all three of his eyes, all of them very cold looking. He almost looked sick in a way. He shrugged and nodded.
"What for?" He asks, a calm and soft voice.
