"Oh that's fun! Are you and Milo close?" She leaned against the railing

“Somewhat, not as much as James… I call Milo father and James dad… you know because they’re both guys.” Jalo giggled.

"Well that's fun though. I've been starting to see more and more of those up here" she smiled at him

“People can be happy at least, it was illegal when my dads met. They fell in love, but were together secretly, until it was legal to be homosexual. I can’t believe they separated my dads for so long, you know?” Jalo forced a smile on his face.

"Yeah, that'd be so hard." She says with a sigh. "So, if you don't mind me asking…" She says remembering her last encounter with someone "are you straight? Or Nah" she leaned on the railing. She never actually asked anyone what their sexuality was, so it was a bit awkward.

“M-Me? I… I don’t know… I think I’m both… I just.. I’m not sure…” Jalo blushed a bit, looking slightly confused, he scratched the back of his head trying to thing.

She waved it off with a smile. "That's okay. Have you ever been in any relationships before?"

“No… I’ve been with only my parents for my entire life, humans as well, but they bullied me… because I’m a hybrid… they call me names like ugly, freak, mistake… I always felt sad but…” Jalo then shook his head and smiled. “That’s in the past though, hehe, it’s behind me!”
Jalo, stop trusting people so easily… no one should know…

She thought nothing of it really. She had a bit of empathy. And she tried to show it, which she wasn’t very good at.
“Well anyway, so by what you said…..bisexual would be my best guess. Pan, maybe. I don’t know too much about you yet. Which is perfectly fine” she shrugged

“Hehe, I think I might also be trans. I love wearing girls clothing, I’m just super confused about it.” Jalo chuckled

She cocked an eyebrow, though said nothing about it. She knew one thing though.
Yeah, this dude was definitely confused. But she didn’t give her opinions, aka facts, to him. “Well anyway, I should get going soon. Lunch is almost over and I don’t feel like getting another detention. Even though I skip them” she shrugged

“Yeah… I should…” Jalo waved with a smile, picked up his bag and left. “It was nice to meet you! Let’s meet again sometime!”

"You've got yourself a deal with the devil. But alright. Continue at your own risk" she winked at him.
She stepped onto the short railing of the school, spreading her dark leathery wings and falling, though shooting up seconds later, rounding the school and going to the back, leaving only a huge gust of wind and a small flicker of a flame before it died out as a trace that she was once there.

Jalo smiled as he walked back to class, he held his head high and looked super happy. I made a friend today! Dad and Father are going to be so proud of me! He got there quickly, sat down at his desk and started flipping through cook books. Maybe I can make her a pie! Would she like sweets?

Back story: Locked away in a house, Elizabeth never actually got to see the world. Her parents were afraid that the other vampires would make fun of her because her father wasn’t exactly a vampire. .

Elizabeth looked at her schedule. She hated being the student that always came around the middle of the year. “Alright, Eliza, you have one period left. You can do this.” She quietly said to herself.

Jalo arrived to his last class, sitting down. Thanks to the school they had a culinary class. He loved it. The teacher treated everyone, Jalo picked a spot and started to read more cook books before someone started yelling at them.
“Excuse me wolf boy, get out of my spot.”
“Oh, I’m sorry.” Jalo moved out of the chair.
The guy scoffed and pushed Jalo onto the ground, he made a thud, hitting his forehead. “Loser, go somewhere else, let us handle this. You’re just a weird freak of nature! No one will ever love you.”
Jalo noticed their face, they were from his village. He’s the main bully. He got up and saw blood on his hand that he covered his head with. Jalo started to panic.

Ebony walked into the class to see someone screwing around with Jalo
"Tsk" she stepped up to them "hey, you alright?" She looked down at him, flames flickering at her fingertips threatening to burn the dudes face off.

Jalo scratched his head. “I think so? I’m not sure… my head hurts though…”
The bully scoffed and sat down. “Whatever.”
Jalo smiled. “I’ll be fine!”

She entered Culinary class hoping no one noticed her. She quickly made her way to an empty spot.

Valentina flew in and sat next to the new girl without even noticing, her eyes to concentrated on Jalo. "The nurses office is just down the hall. I can carry him there if you need me to…"
