"Oh," Aliana gave him a big smile, "That's fine! I was just curious."
"Oh," Aliana gave him a big smile, "That's fine! I was just curious."
He smiled back, and nodded. "Alright." He replied with a shrug.
Aliana was glad he was smiling. She pulled her hand off the wall, "I'm surprised we haven't hit a dead end yet."
Hatta laughed. "Mhm. Me too." He agreed, shaking his head a little bit.
"Watch," Aliana let out a melodic laugh, "This'll be a dead end."
He laughed. "Ah. Maybe." He shrugged a little, glancing over at her, then back at their path ahead.
Aliana's laugh turned to a slight giggle, "I hope not, but knowing my luck it will be."
Hatta smiled a little. "Mhm. We'll see, though."
"That we will," Aliana agreed quietly. She put her hands into the jacket pockets.
Hatta continued to walk, whistling softly.
Aliana hummed as she walked a grin on her face. She was having a lot more fun than she thought she would. Given the circumstance and all.
Hatta was still walking along, taking turns as they came to them. He wondered when they would hit a dead end.
Aliana had some slight trouble keeping up with Hatta. Sometimes it was easy, sometimes she had to do a quick sprint to catch up. She was starting to wonder if they were walking in circles.
Hatta frowned a little as they came to a fork that he was sure they had seen before. "Are we…going in circles?"
"I was wondring the same thing," Alian took her bag off and grabbed a pen she could bare to part with and put it on the ground, "Let's go again and see if we find my pen again."
Hatta nodded. "Alright." He replied, looking at her and waiting.
Alaina put her backpack on and started walking to the right. She looked over at Hatta, "I really hope I can get my pen back."
Hatta raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean? I'm sure you can." He replied slowly.
"It's my only pen I have," Aliana whispered a little, "If we loop around I'll get it then, if not hopefully it'll be there when we walk back."
"Ah. Alright." Hatta replied. "Why are you whispering?" he arched his eyebrow again, looking at her quizzically.
"Becuase," Aliana said a bit stronger, "I, I don't know. It's just how I was raised."
He frowned. "You don't have to whisper with me." he replied slowly, shaking his head for a moment.
"I," Aliana had a little smile on, "Thank you."
Hatta smiled lightly in return. "Of course." he replied, then started walking again.
Aliana hummed as she turned once more to see the cross path with her pen on the ground. She reached down and picked the pen up, "Looks like we are going around in circles. We may want to head left now."
Hatta sighed. "Hm. Fine." he took a turn, and they went down to the left. He hoped that this wouldn't loop again. That would be annoying.
Aliana followed after him struggling to walk and put her pen away at the same time. She looked up at Hatta, "I'm sorry we ended up in a circle. Hopefully, we don't loop around again."
Hatta shrugged. "It's not your fault, don't apologize." he replied. "And yeah, if we loop again, that'll really suck."
"Yeah," Aliana reached out to run her hand along the wall, "Do you think we'll run into anything dangerous in here?"
Hatta shrugged a little. "I don't know." he replied honestly. "I don't believe so."
