Jared wobbled some more as he learned, and still occasionally grabbed onto Victor to keep from falling. But he was smiling more than he had in a while, and laughing, too.
Jared wobbled some more as he learned, and still occasionally grabbed onto Victor to keep from falling. But he was smiling more than he had in a while, and laughing, too.
Victor hadn't felt this happy in ages. He looked relaxed and happy. "So… How do you feel? Is it fun?" He giggles quietly.
Jared smiled. He nodded a little. "Yeah. Thank you." He replied, looking up at Victor with a soft smile.
Victor nods a little and smiled in return. "No problem." He chuckles softly, his eyes soft and happy. He was having a lot of fun.
Jared was still holding onto him a little, but was starting to work more on moving on his own, though he stuck close to Victor in case he fell.
Victor stayed by Jared, letting him skate, pointing out a few things to help him. He smiled at the other warmly. "You're a fast learner."
Jared smiled. "Thanks." he replied, looking at Victor. "You're a good teacher." he wobbled a little, but not too badly.
Victor hummed. "I just helped you figure it out." He laughs softly.
Jared smiled. "Mm. Thanks, though." he replied with a chuckle.
"No problem." He chuckles softly before looking back at Jared, a little.smile on his lips.
Jared was still smiling over at him, and kept working on skating more. He wobbled again, but began to try to move faster. Of course, that threw off his balance a little, but he didn't mind.
Victor chuckled quietly as he skates before looking around. He loved how quiet it was. This rink was quieter, usually reserved for ice skaters practicing for competitions. Victor had once skated in this rink for that exact reason. But now he was a hired Hitman and protector.
Jared looked over at him, green eyes flickering for a moment, then looked around the rink again. "I was expecting it to be busier." he remarked.
"Some times, especially when tournament comes around. But this rink is usually just for figure skaters." He shrugged a little as he skates. "I love it here."
"Oh. I'm not a figure skater." Jared replied slowly, giving a soft laugh. he nodded. "I can tell that you do. It's nice, I'll agree with that."
"I used to figure skate, that's the only reason they allow me in here." He chuckles as he skates beside the other. "It was fun… It wasn't really my thing thought." He laughs quietly. "But it's something that I can enjoy in my free time."
Jared nodded. "Oh, that's cool." he replied with a smile. "I've seen people figure skate before, but uhm…I'm pretty sure I'm not graceful enough. I'd look like some sort of lumbering beast, which isn't usually the effect one is going for with figure skating." he chuckled.
Victor chuckles at that. "I always kept my routine memorized. I enjoyed it…" He laughs quietly. "And I'm sure after a little practice you'd be amazing."
Jared shrugged. He chuckled a little. "I don't think I'd be that good. Passable, maybe, but I'm not flexible, either."
"You could if you trained." He laughs softly before looking at the other. "But of course, that's your choice."
Jared laughed a little. "Nah. Thanks for the compliment, though."
"You're good." He laughs softly. "But you really are doing great." He smiles at the other.
Jared smiled back. "Yeah, alright. Thank you." He replied, keeping his arms a little outwards from his body to help with his balance.
Victor hummed in response before looking around the arena, beginning to skate a little bit. He looked happy and excited. He was in his element here.
Jared watched him with a light smile. He kept skating carefully, not wanting to fall or slip and go sprawling across the floor.
"How you doing over there?" He asks curiously, a small smile on his lips.
"Average?" Jared replied with a shrug. He ran a hand through his red hair, chuckling softly. "I hope?"
"You're doing magnificent for someone skating for the first time."Victor hummed as he skates beside the other.
Jared smiled. "Oh. Thank you." he replied with a smile, looking over at Victor. "I had a good teacher."
Victor smiled a little bit, "I had a good student." He laughed quietly.
