Asher chuckled softly, and nodded. "Mhm. I bet she does." he replied softly.
Asher chuckled softly, and nodded. "Mhm. I bet she does." he replied softly.
“She’s rather quiet though, doesn’t do much of the social interactions.” Arabella explained softly.
"Yeah." With that snake of a husband, I'll bet she doesn't. Asher pressed his lips into a thin line.
Arabella glanced up at him, opening an eye. “Are you alright?”
"Yeah yeah, I'm fine." Asher replied with a quick smile.
She narrowed her eye and leaned up to kiss his cheek. “You seemed tense.”
Asher shook his head. "Nah, just thinking." he replied with a faint smile. "Really."
She tugged him down and gave him a peck on the lips. “Relax. You’ve worked yourself too hard.” She murmured gently. “You don’t have to think too hard.” She mused.
He kissed her back gently. "Mm. I'm fine." He replied softly. "Really."
“I always have to make sure.” She replied simply, her eyes lighting up as she felt her chest expand with happiness.
He smiled at her. "I know. But I'm fine. I really am."
"Mm okay. I believe you." She chuckled and closed her eyes once more, sighing deeply.
Asher laughed softly. "Oh. Good." He replied. "Thanks, I guess."
“Your welcome.” The female laughed, letting out a soft sigh. “Tell me more about your kind, I want to know more.”
He blinked. "You mean…about the Fae?" He asked slowly. He sighed. "Well…we have magic, most of us, and…"
“Yes, the Fae.” Arabella spoke quietly, almost as if afraid he’d be mad. “What kind of magic?”
"Depends on the individual." Asher replied, thinking. "Some are more element based, others are more mind or body."
“What are yours? Can you control an element?” Arabella took both his hands in hers and blinked excitedly up at him.
"Nothing, right now." Asher replied, shaking his head a little. "My magic was blocked off." He replied.
Arabella looked confused, she tilted her head and played with the fabric of his shirt. “It did? Why? What did it used to be?”
Asher sighed softly. "Yeah. And it was, uhm…" He trailed off, running a hand through her hair. "I don't remember. Sorry. I was really young."
“Why did they do that?” Arabella closed her eyes, a frown etched into her pretty features. “It doesn’t seem fair to you at all.”
"It was damaging me. Some sort of…I don't know. The magic wasn't meshing with my body, and it was going to kill me if it continued." He replied.
“Oh. That’s a good reason then. I don’t want you to be hurt or dead.” She mused quietly.
"Yeah." Asher nodded. "It happens sometimes, that a Fae's body can't handle their magic."
“What do you think it would have been?” She reached up to fix his hair, smiling sweetly.
Asher shrugged a little. "I don't know. Could have been anything, really." he replied softly, running a hand through her hair.
“Well, you’re very kind and loving and a lot of fun. I bet it would have matched your amazingness.” She beamed, winking at him.
Asher laughed a little. "Mm. Thanks." he replied.
“No need to thank me for speaking the truth.” Arabella purred.
