(THATS WHAT I'M HERE FOR!)
(great hahah)
(Poor Runaan. The sweet baby can't handle pressure like that lol. Let's do it)
Runaan smiled a bit more, and he realized. He hadn't felt this happy in ages. He was happy for once. He was with people who didn't hate him, who didn't abandon him. This made him truly happy. "So wheres the library?" He asks, a light laugh leaving his lips.
Archer’s stomach fluttered at Runaan’s laugh. He was glad that he was a ghost and therefore it was probably difficult to see his blush that just wouldn’t go away. “It’s not too far from here, just down the hall and around the corner,” Archer responded, also cheerful.
Valentina nodded, and there they were. She sighed and headed inside, hand still lightly in Archers grasp, making her all happy inside. Weirdly. Her heart was beating fast. This was strange too. He had a strong laugh, the kinda laugh that rolled like ocean waves, and could be spotted in a crowd. She liked that.
(lol i’m assuming you mean Runaan)
Archer grinned once they got to the library. It was obvious that he loved the place as he glanced around at it before bringing his gaze to Runaan excitedly. He noticed Valentina also looking at Runaan with a twinge of jealousy. Why was he jealous? It wasn’t like he actually had a crush on Runaan or anything, he barely knew the guy. But the jealousy persisted.
Valentina promptly lead the three to the back corner of the library, right next to a window, let go of Runaan's hand, and shot a quick glare at Archer before going off to get some books.
Archer raised his eyebrows, confused at her sudden coldness. Had he really been so obvious? It wasn’t a big deal. Runaan was cute, so what? It just a momentary thing. He definitely didn’t have a crush on Runaan or anything. “So, um, how do you and Valentina know each other?” Archer asked Runaan.
(Oh gosh i missed so much. Let's just say Ebony like…turned into a shadow and kinda just sneaky, sneaked her way away?)
(yeah)
Runaan gasped at the library, his eyes widening in excitement. "This place… It's beautiful." His eyes shined brightly, and for once he felt warmth. He gazed at the others. "Shall we?" He giggles. "Gosh I don't know where to go first! Archer, Valentina? Can you help me pick out some books please!" He appeared to be rather oblivious to either one. He was to happy to notice, supposedly.
Archer frowned for a moment at the unanswered question, but laughed it off. “I know where you should go first,” he suggested. “It’s my favorite place in the whole library.”
Valentina appears, her arms full of history and she sits down. "I'd suggest our massive horror section, or the comic books. Maybe some mythology." She smiled. "Where do you suggest,Archer?" Her bat hearing had overheard the two.
“Over on the other side of the library, there’s a cozy little alcove around the fantasy and science fiction sections,” Archer explained, getting excited as he described it. “I always hang out there to read. The light filters in through the window just right and it’s like my own little space. I wanted to show…you guys.” He glanced back at Valentina with a honey sweet smile. See, nothing to worry about, he told himself.
(To any RPers, I have been recently having a lot of mind grains that have been pushing me away from everything. I have been light headed a lot and haven’t been able to think properly. I will be pausing out of RPs, or if necessary, leaving all of them. I’m sorry for this. I haven’t been 100% able to do anything, my anxiety is building and I need breaks. Sorry.)
(Hey. It's okay. I get it. Take all the time you need, I'm always up for 0/0 as well. It's alright, I understand. I'm just happy you were able to participate.)
(i think i might drop out of this i can't keep up and this is moving too fast i'm sorry)
(That's fine! ((sorta sad, oh well)) )
(I feel the same as Loki, especially in my health I can’t keep up at all. I need slower RPs. Sorry, I’m dropping this I hardly did anything anyway I might return, or not.)
Runaan gasped and he giggles. "Really? Can you show me?" He asks curiously, his eyes widening. His smile broke into one that would rival the sun. "Can you show me?" He gently takes Archers wrists, "Please? I wanna see!" He beams at the description, he loved sitting in warm spots. "Yeah, Valentina! You should come with us! It'll be fun!" He turned to Archer. "As for your question. I met Valentina today. She was really nice and sat with me. After last year's incident…" He paused, the memories flashing. He shook his head. "Well. It's nice to have people to talk to."
(Well. If you ever see a spot to jump in then it's fine. I'll try to be more inclusive of people) Valentina suddenly drew away from her crush, but sighed and smiled, giving into his adorable nature. "Alright, alright. I'll go. Lead the way Archer." She grabbed her stuff, and waited for Archer to lead the way.
Archer blushed wildly when the other boy took his wrists. “S-sure, of course!” he replied, smiling back at Runaan. “I’ll take you there right now.” He took Runaan’s hand and lead him to the spot he had described, butterflies in his stomach as well as a feeling of triumph. He glanced back at Valentina for a brief moment before looking back at Runaan.
Valentina stood back. 'They'd make a cuter couple…' And she really was already way in over her head. So she stopped flirting, and there was a change of attitude, back to her cold nature. Her steps were heavier and she didn't seem to float. The Valentina everyone knew.
Runaan was really happy that he had made friends. "Thank you Archer! That's really sweet of you!" Runaan noticed Valentina's change in attitude and mother instincts flashed in. "Hey. Valentina… Are you okay?" He asks softly, turning to face her. His eyes are gentle and concerned.
She nods. "Yeah I'm fine." She says cooly, shrugging, smile disappearing. "This just how I am usually. I'm…trying to be more friendly but I'm not the best at faking it." She sighs and keeps walking along behind the two.
Archer bit his lip. Was her sudden change in attitude because of him? He felt awful. The two of them would have to talk after this, because what if this wasn’t nothing? Maybe Archer just didn’t want to admit that he had fallen so quickly for this boy who had come to his rescue at lunch.
Once they arrived at the spot he had been talking about, he stopped and beamed. “This is it.”
Valentina got confused looks from people, and she flipped them off and sat down, taking out her book. It was definitely one of the best spots in the library, but it was always so crowded and she hated being in crowded places alone.
(unfortunately, I too have a too-fast life and must depart from this quick-paced but otherwise fantastic rp ;<)
(AGAIN I am ALWAYS up for private rps with peeps)
