(How was your trip? I didn't know you were back!)
(I got back on the 29th. And it was so amazing! I had an awesome time!)
(Nice! I'm glad you had a good time <3)
I have a prince who's aro-spec (I don't know if he's aro or demi, he could be either) and he sees Lavinia and basically goes "you're brave and smart and I want to get to know you better, we can get engaged so I can get you into the palace because we need someone like you".
I very much like.
(Bump)
I want more murder and mayhem in books where I'm supposed to get Murder and Mayhem!! (side note: The Queen's Assassin by Melissa de la Cruz promised murder and there wasn't any and the book was TerribleTM) Murder and Mayhem is my favorite thing and I don't get enough of it in books where it should be on every other page! (other side note: Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody has excellent murder and Mayhem)
(Melissa de la Cruz's books just tend to be mediocre at best…)

(ha well. I hadn't read any of her books before and I have Major Regrets)

(I liked Alex and Eliza well enough, but I dnf'd her other book that I tried. I saw the blurb for The Queen's Assassin and noped right out of there.)

(yeah…I was at the library, went "oh this looks interesting" and then…i read it…and i called every single major "plot twist" in like the first few pages)

Blue Bloods was an interesting series…. until–well actually I havent finished it
Didn't she just….not finish one series?
Who, de la Cruz? Yeah, there was a trilogy where she only wrote the first book and then cancelled the series. It really pissed people off.
One of her books has a 2.66 rating on Goodreads which is not ideal.
OOF. Which one?
Pride And Prejudice And Mistletoe.
Ah. that's gross.
in other news I borrowed the new SJM book today and I don't know how to feel about that. I haven't started it yet, but we'll see
It's dummy thicc

what series??
GIVE ME MURDER AND MAYHEM OR GIVE ME DEATH!
Nice.

Oh my god literally nothing makes me more angry than being told a book is an action packed fantasy adventure story when it's actually just a romance in a cool setting.
How about give me murder and mayhem or give me a blurb that's actually accurate so that I don't get duped into reading another goddamn love triangle?

I don't remember!!! But it annoys the fuck out of mee
My friend read this book about a gay-ace guy and I haven't read it yet but can I get a hell yeah for asexual characters that have romantic attraction? I haven't seen a whole lot of ace rep yet at all, but when I do it seems like the ace character's always the "ew feelings gross" one.
What book?
I'm not sure but I'll ask them for you guys
I'm reading this cute new book called "The Gravity of Us" and I look at the reviews and all the gays and gay authors are screaming about it
Okay so the book's called Upside Down by N.R. Walker, it features a gay-ace librarian protagonist that swears probably too much
mE

Already in progress relationships. And not as it they’re breaking up so mc can be with someone else. And mostly untroubled relationship. Realistically having some challenges. But not Troubled™. Just. Casually being in a relationship. We need less passion and more casual romance.
