Cas soon dozed off as well, staying asleep. His wound was still hurting him, but he didn't notice it as much with Aki by his side.
Cas soon dozed off as well, staying asleep. His wound was still hurting him, but he didn't notice it as much with Aki by his side.
Aki willed some of his magic into Cas's sides, willing the pain to sink away. He kisses his forehead as he dozes off.
Cas fell into a deeper sleep when Aki relieved most of his pain, a soft smile growing onto his face.
(I'm really sorry about being gone for the past few days. My mental health wasn't the best so I didn't have much energy to reply..
Would you like a time skip?)
(No problem! And sure, to when?)
(Hmm. That's a good question .)
(Any ideas?)
(Maybe skip to the wedding or Aki being outted or Cas tried to find who tried to kill him?)
(Wedding sounds fine to me. Do you want to start?)
(Sure)
Aki was trembling. He was scared. But it was a good scared. He was just overly nervous for the wedding. He looked fantastic, the dress framing his body prettily, his hair was braided neatly and had flowers running through. The veil was long and whispered along the ground when he walked. He paced as he waited, so excited. So nervous. Zephyr played the role of his father so he was less nervous walking down the isle.
Cas stood at the altar, waiting anxiously. He was clearly shaking a bit from his nervousness. His father glared at him to keep him quiet, which certainly did the trick. He was wearing a simple black suit since he hadn't wanted to wear anything super princey, which his father wasn't too keen on. His hair had been combed and looked neat and quite nice, actually.
He took a deep breath and looked at the other before sighing quietly. "You'll be great." His master mutters softly, his eyes gentle. Aki nods before the doors swung open. He blushed a little when he saw Cas waiting for him. Zephyr guides him down the aisle and Aki felt the knot in his stomach tighten. He handed the bouquet of roses and white lilies to Zephyr before walking up to face Cas at the alter. He smiled a little from under the veil.
Cas's heart felt like it would pound right out of his chest, and he seemed incredibly nervous. He raised his trembling hands to gently lift Aki's veil, which began the ceremony. Cas had already told his father that he'd prefer a more traditional wedding, and it was mostly so, but they would still be forced to walk outside to greet the public as the future king and queen. Cas suspected he'd become king relatively soon after the wedding, but he couldn't be sure.
Aki bowed his head a little to help the other lift his veil. Once it was removed he looked up and offered a tiny smile, the blush on his face extremely apparent. He was so nervous, his eyes shutting for a moment to calm himself. This was it. He was getting married to Cas. The man he loved and adored. He took a deep and trembling breath, glad to be at the ceremony, but not excited to meet the public. He was always so shy in front of audiences.
Cas was clearly blushing as well. His pale skin had always made it painfully obvious when he even had the faintest hint of pink in his cheeks. He could barely hear the ceremony happening as he kept his gaze transfixed on Aki. They hadn't really known each other for long, but he felt like it had been a lifetime already. He loved Aki, and he couldn't deny that.
Being raised as the crown prince met that, at the very least, he was used to crowds. He didn't always like them, necessarily, but he was certainly familiar with them and knew how to interact with groups. Nonetheless, the crowd would wait until after the ceremony, whose end was swiftly approaching. Cas listened in again so he would know when he was supposed to speak. "Prince Casper." The priest said. Cas looked up, wondering if the priest knew he was enabling a gay marriage. "Do you take Princess Aria to be your wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part; according to God’s holy law. In the presence of God, do you make this vow?"
"I do." He replied, trying to keep his voice from wavering unsuccessfully. The priest nodded and moved onto Aki.
"Do you, Princess Aria, take Prince Casper to be your husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part; according to God’s holy law. In the presence of God, do you make this vow?
(Apologies for wall)
Aki offered a kind smile to Cas, his eyes soft and warm with love and assurance. he felt so shy as he listened to the priest's words, his eyes never leaving Cas. He loved the other with everything he had. He loved the fact that they were getting married. That he was marrying Cas.
Aki, however when it came to crowds was less than fortunate. He had always been hated against as a child. People never liked him. And he was always so shy, hiding behind everyone or anyone around him. He knew that if he stayed by Cas's side nothing would happen. He heard the priest call on Casper's name and he got a hold on his thoughts. He flushed a light pink when Cas said those two words. Aki turned his gaze to the priest before looking at Casper, a wide smile on his lips. "I do." His voice was steady, but happy. Gosh- he was so lucky.
(It's okay!)
"You may now kiss the bride." The priest stepped back a bit and Cas briefly hesitated before kissing Aki. It seemed that the public intimacy made him nervous, such was also evident by his flushed cheeks. He was vaguely aware of the applause around them, but his focus was on Aki. He pulled away after a few seconds and waved as he'd been taught, doing his signature princey smile. After that, he took Aki by the arm and led him down the aisle and outside, where they were immediately meet with cameras, applause, and general excited noise.
Aki's breath hitched at those six words before looking at Cas. He hesitated a little bit before smiling a little and kissing him back. He always felt nervous around public displays. He kissed him back a little before pulling away and smiling warmly. He clung to Cas as hey walked down the aisle and smiled shyly. He waved, just like Zephyr had taught him, his eyes on the public. He hides away from the camera's, making sure to hang onto Cas. He was so shy. But he relaxed as he walked beside Aki.
"It's alright, love…" Cas subtly whispered to Aki so the press wouldn't notice. "I won't let anything happen to you…" He gently pressed his lips to the other's cheek, which earned another flash from the camera. He kept walking and waving, keeping Aki very close to his side. "We just have to walk around a bit and then we can go back inside."
Aki eased at Cas's words of comfort and smiled a little at him. He sighed happily and kisses his cheek in return. He ignored the cameras and stayed by Cas's side, offering a sweet smile. He was nervous, sure. But he felt happy too, he was married to Cas, and that was what was important. "Just for a little while, right?" He mutters in reply, looking lovingly at Cas.
"Yes, of course." Cas gave Aki's hand a reassuring squeeze. "Then we can go right back to my room to cuddle or whatever you want to do." A couple reporters tried to get Cas to answer some questions, but he walked away. He had no reason to give them anything to twist into lies.
He nods and walks beside the other. He seemed nervous, but assured by Cas's gentle words. He shied away from people who wanted to talk to him, keeping beside Cas as they walked. He saw his master out of the corner of his eye. His master was disguised to look like his father, so he felt a bit better. He smiled at him before staying beside the other.
They stayed outside for another couple of minutes before Cas led Aki back in by the side door. He sighed in relief once they were inside, glad to be away from the reporters. "C'mon, love…" Cas kissed Aki's cheek and brought him up to their room, pulling off his jacket immediately. "I'm going to change into something more comfortable. You can do the same, if you'd like."
Aki sighed as they made it away from the crowd and into the quiet. He smiles at the other before sighing happily. He walked into their room happily. He smiled as he settles into a chair and sighed happily. "We're married…" He whispers softly as he stared at the ring on his finger. He slowly strips out of his dress and into more comfortable clothes.
Cas smiled softly and pulled off his shirt. "Mhmm. Are you happy?" He asked, grabbing a comfortable shirt to change into.
"Amazingly so." He mutters as he walks to the bed, falling on to it. He gave a happy little sigh, his eyes shutting.
Cas finished changing before flopping beside Aki. "I'm glad to hear it, love." He kissed the other's cheek and hugged him tightly, his smile not fading.
He giggles softly before kissing his shoulder. "Yeah…" He sighs happily as he's hugged, glad for the physical contact and gentle affection.
"Well, what doo you want to do as a married couple, hmm?" Cas raised an eyebrow, still unable to stop smiling.
"Anything you want." He giggles, looking up at the other with adoration in his eyes. He kissed his lips gently and smiled at the other.
