(…. oh. Well where are they?)
hi! sorry, busy with school, but here i am! I'll post the starter right now!
(Yay! Also it’s alright, schools long.)
The night shone with opportunity, the leaves sparkling with the leftover mist from a rainy day. The small pub just off the main street is bustling with activity. The tension strong, in recent months, tension has only grown amongst bot the people in the town and the pub. Peter slowly shuffles about the kitchen, preparing cups for serving to patrons, tories and patriots alike.
Monty was sitting by himself, like usual. Minding his own business, reading a book while drinking a beer, bread beside the beer on a small plate, decorated with a small floral design. He peacefully flipped to the next page, singing a sweet tune.
Stella Taylor slipped into the pub. She was a delivery boy and she had to drop off some supplies, and not all were completely legal. She hopped off her horse drawn cart and slipped inside the pub to check to make sure it was the right order.
Bella headed out the door ready for another night laying above the city. she looks down at all the people walking around. she needed to get something to eat or drink or something. anything to keep her up and at it. jumping from roof to roof she slid down a pole and headed into the pub. she sat down at a random spot in the back and ordered a beer.
(sorry this took so long school!!)
(also i won't be on much i have to finish homework and stuff)
Alex was silent as he sat alone, a beer in his hand. He glanced around the room, thinking. There was another man nearby who was singing softly as he read. How anyone could read and sing at a time like this, in a place like this, Alex couldn't imagine.
Monty glanced around the room, making eye contact with a man(Alex). He quickly looked away awkwardly, not wanting to start a conversation. He tried to seem normal, but his singing was uneasy. He drank some coffee quickly, almost chocking on it.
Bella looked u a few times making sure nobody was coming near her. she drank down her beer and was getting ready to leave. but something made her stay a little bit longer. she ordered some fries and sat down again looking around there were a few other people in here but none of them payed attention to her. good.
(Were fries even in america during the revolutionary time frame?)
(I’m having a brain aneurism)
(no fricking idea XD)
Alex caught the other man's look, and gave a quick smile, raising his cup in a half salute. He wondered if the other was a loyalist or a patriot.
Monty sighed, went up to the front and asked for two more beers. He lost basically what was left of his family through them going to be war heavy. That’s why he stuck to neither, he doesn’t want to be apart of it. No matter what.
Alex watched the other walking. He almost wanted to go say hello, but…This isn't Celeste's. Celeste's might be a place you can flirt with other guys, but this place isn't. If you show the wrong interest here… you'll be run out of town again.
Monty blushed a bit, the man he saw was cute, the smile he gave had his heart on fire. Sure, Monty was gay, but he was sure that mums would hang him for being “Evil.”
Alex gave a quick smile, then looked away again. Stop this. He scolded himself. No more. No. He took a deep breath, and took a big sip of his drink.
Monty drinkers another beer. He was terrified of the soldiers from both sides… he was never a politician at all, so he never seen the point.
Aw, fuck it. Alex thought. He got up and walked over to Monty. "Hey." He greeted. "I'm Alex. Are you new around here? I haven't seen you before."
