"You really care about going to jail than your own health? I'm calling my friend to come over here and take a look at you," Saayan reached for his phone and called his friend. "Hey, do think you can take a look at Eclipse or me……yeah he's got this huge headache and he's not moving….yes he is still awake, he isn't dead……..okay….thanks." Saayan hung up the phone. "He's coming, you'll be alright, I promise."
Eclipse huffed, "No. I care about not ending up in a lab being dissected because of my wolf side…" he growled, really not in the mood for this.
"Eclipse look at me, you're the strongest person I know. That means you can pull through this no matter how sick you get. I promise you, I will always be right here with you. You know I would never leave your side. So pull through for yourself and for me. Then we can get back to normal, with you being clingy and me being annoyed that you're clingy. How does that sound hm?" Saayan smiled softly.
"I'm not Clingy!" he grumbled, promptly curling around the other, being very contradictory again. "But thanks…." he gave the other a half-hearted smile, his silver grey eyes seeming a bit duller than usual.
"Anytime, I'm right here." The doorbell rang and Saayan got up while holding Eclipse. He opened the door to see Nick with his doctor stuff.
"So, is the lovely, clingy Eclipse I've been hearing about. Very cute~" Nick said walking in the door. Saayan closed the door.
"Back off he's mine. Now, can you please check him out. His eyes are really dull, they don't have that fire in them I see every day when I wake up," Saayan explained.
Eclipse growled softly, not liking the fact that' he'd been dragged out of bed. "I'm fine… Seriously you don't need to worry." he coughed roughly, ending with a groan as he buried his nose in the other's neck.
"No, you're not," Saayan set Eclipse on the bed and crouched down holding Eclipse's hand.
"Let's see here, you said he has a headache right? He seems to be coughing a lot too," Nick opened Eclipse's mouth shining a flashlight down his throat. "His throat is really dry, he's way too pale also. Does your body feel heavy anywhere? Like you can't lift it."
Eclipse flopped back at the last question, "Everywhere…" he muttered, not wanting to deal with people.
"Do you know what AFM is Saayan?"
"No," Saayan looked up.
"It's when you become paralyzed, it starts out with a cold and then it spreads through your body and makes you paralyzed. Now, he can get better when this goes away tomorrow. You just have to take him to therapy. Lots and lots of therapy," he explained. "I'll make sure he can emitted into one, but Eclipse just has to say yes. to it." Nick looked down at Eclipse.
"Will you, my puppy?"
Eclipse wasn't paying attention to the pair, just wanting to shift and curl up undr the covers.
"Hello?" He whispered to Eclipse, slightly shaking him.
"What?" responded Eclipse with a low groan, pulling the covers over his face.
"Will you go to physical and occupational therapy?" he asked once more.
"I don't need thereapy!" protested Eclipse, who hadn't been paying attention to the other two. "I admit, I feel like crap! But it's probably just a cold, maybe the flu! I don't know what you're thinking."
"If it's the flu then that's worse. Thank you, Nick, I'll tell you if anything happens tomorrow," Nick just nodded and walked away and out the door. "Jeez, you're a piece of work. Is it so wrong that I care about you more than my own life? I just want you to get better. How about this if within the week you feel perfect and back to the way you were, then I won't take you anywhere. If this gets worse, I'm taking you to the hospital no questions asked okay?"
Eclipse growled. "No Hospitals!" he glared t the other. "If you take me to a hospital they'll do bloodwork, and then I'll end up in some Government lab being dissected!" His eyes showed a flash of fear as he grimaced at the thought of it.
"Eclipse, I will never let that happen to you. Not even if the apocalypse breaks out I will never let that happen to you. I promise you it won't. You trust me right? Then take my word for it," Saayan kissed Eclipse on the forehead. "I'll go make some food and this time you better finish it okay?"
Eclipse sighed, knowing full well that Saayan might not be able to protect him if he were outed. "Okay.." he mumled half heartedly.
Saayan walked into the kitchen and started cooking Eclipse's favorite food. It was almost ready when Saayan got a phone call. He picked it up. "Yeah……oh right……yeah….I'll look at it later…..I will, I will, I promise…….This time I definitely will……alright……bye," he hung up the phone and sighed. He finished cooking and gave Eclipse the plate of food. "I will stand here and watch you eat that. So, you better eat all of it."
Eclipse hummed softly, smiling as when he saw what the other had made. He as hungry from not eating dinner yesterday, so he made no argument about eating this time, though he only managed to eat about half, his appetite not being what it normally was.
"I'll let you off the hook since your sick," Saayan took the plate away throwing out any leftover food then placing the dish in the dishwasher. He came back in the room and stood over Eclipse. "Is that headache feeling any better?"
Eclipse shook his head with a small groan, curling up on the matress, half buried under the covers.
Saayan crawled under the blankets with Eclipse and smiled holding him close to his chest. "It's alright," Saayan started to hum a soothing and soft song.
Eclipse twisted so he could bury his face in the other's neck, breathing the other's scent for comfort.
Saayan stroked Eclipse's hair down to his back and kept that motion. "Today, I'm not going to answer any calls today. My attention will be focused on only you and you alone."
"love you…" mumbled Eclipse tiredly in response, pressing his fevered body against the other.
“Sleep, I don’t mind,” he smiled.
Eclipse hummed softly by way of response, already falling asleep.
Saayan sighed and reached for his phone looking over files that he was supposed to read last week. The files had stated about 11 murders in that one week. He looked down Eclipse and shook his head as he read more.
Eclipse slept quietly, looking so peaceful for a guy ho literally killed for a living. Mind you he was very selective of hich jobs he took, and a lot of the pay he got went the charities, mainly those for people who had been abused. But he was still an assassin. A killer.
