'No thanks, I don't drink coffee,' he replied as he flipped the pancake. 'If you've got any tea I'll have that, though.'

He looked in his cabinets. "I don't think I have any, actually. I don't drink tea that often," he said. "I'll buy some next time I go to the store, though."

'Thanks.' Tyler moved the pancake around the pan for a bit, and once it was cooked he popped it onto the plate. As he was going to make a big stack of pancakes, he added more oil to the pan, let it heat up, and added more mixture.

Suddenly, Mitchell got an idea. "Hey, maybe we can stop by the gay cafe later. I think they serve tea there."

'That's a good idea,' said Tyler. Then, he remembered something. 'Wait, where did Michael and Adrik go? I never saw them leave…'

"I was wondering the same thing last night," he said, pouring himself a cup of coffee. "I think they went home though. Their vehicles aren't in the driveway."

'Oh, okay, I thought they'd hooked up in one of your spare rooms or something.' Tyler flipped the pancake, almost dropping it. 'I'll call them later, see if they got home safe.'

Mitchell made a face. "Oh god, I hope they got out of my house before hooking up."

Tyler noticed Mitchell's horrified face and laughed. 'I'm sure they left before they did anything. I gave them a condom, so I won't become an uncle, thank god.'

He shook his head and took a sip of his coffee. "Sorry, they're just like kids to me, so the idea kind of grosses me out." He ran a hand through his long hair. It was a bit tangled, and needed to be brushed. "God, I feel like I'm in my late thirties and I'm only… wait how old am I?"

'You don't know… how old you are?' laughed Tyler, tipping the second pancake onto the plate. 'You're… 19?'

"I'm exhausted, forgive me," he said, adding more sugar to his coffee. "19 sounds about right."

Tyler began to make the third pancake. 'Want some music on?' he asked.

"Yeah, sure."

Opening up spotify, he put his playlist on shuffle. The first song to come on was Vampire Money, by MCR.

Mitchell laughed, draining the rest of his coffee. He hadn't heard this song before, but it seemed like Tyler was enjoying it.
