“You’re welcome,” He said walking in behind him.

Aurelie glanced around, waiting to see who Cat would introduce her to next.

Behind the counter of the shop was a giro there age in a long beautiful dress. She smiled at Aurelie and her smile widened when she saw Cat. She walked over to them. “Gatti! It’s so nice to see you!” She said hugging her.

How does Cat know so many girls? Aurelie wondered, thinking of the few that she knew. She glanced at the new girl.

The girls hands lingered on Cat slightly as she pulled away. She looked. “Mm and who’s this?” She asked.

Aurelie couldn’t help but notice the way that the girl’s hands lingered on Cat and a spark of jealousy ignited in her. It’s not like Cat likes you anyway…she’s literally trying to make you see other people, she tried to remind herself. It took her a moment to realize that the girl was talking about her. Aurelie took off her hood, her curls tumbling down her back again. “I’m Aurelie.”

She blinked her smile falling slightly as she looked confused. “Well hello princess I am Valentina. What can I do for you both?” She asked looking at Aurelie and Cat. Cat looked deep in through for a second but then snapped out of it.
“Oh um well Aurelie doesn’t get out of the castle much so I decided to introduce her to some people. She’d probably live your shop,” Cat said smiling sweetly at Valentina. Her face a lot softer and smile less forced then around Grace. Like how she used to be with Aurelie.

Aurelie pressed her lips together to hide her growing irritation. The two of them clearly had chemistry, so what was the point of this? It almost seemed like this whole endeavor was some sort of stupid joke to Cat. Aurelie smiled at Valentina with all of the honey that she could muster, seething internally. “You can just call me Aurelie,” she added, twirling a curl around her finger.

“Hmm well it’s nice to meet you Aurelie. Why don’t you come in and look around. I have some new designs I’d love to show you both,” she said blatantly checking Aurelie out.

Aurelie blushed slightly at the obvious way Valentina was looking at her, but didn't comment on it. She was still feeling a bit jealous about the chemistry between Valentina and Cat. "Okay, that sounds great," Aurelie replied with a smile.

“Follow me,” Valentina said to both of them. Walking deep into her store.

Aurelie followed, glancing around at everything inside with interest. She tried not to look too much like a little kid at a candy store, but her eyes definitely skimmed along everything there.

Valentina walked close to her. “Why don’t you come check out the back room? It has all of my works in progresses,” she suggests gesturing to the open door.

“Okay,” Aurelie agreed, her eyes bright with excitement. She was trying to forget about her earlier jealousy, though it still left her feeling a bit unsettled. She tried to shake it off as she walked through the door.

Cat stayed outside looking at the dresses and other clothes all around the shop. Valentina didn’t ask her to join. “So What kind of clothes do you usually wear?” She asked Aurelie.

"Usually dresses in differing pastels or jewel tones," she said with a shrug. "I have to wear somewhat fancy dresses, but personally I like things that are more simple. If I could, I'd probably wear pants and riding boots every day." She was currently sporting a creamy pastel dress with sleeves that ended at her elbows with lace ruffles and had similar ruffles down the skirt.

Valentina nodded. “Hmm You and Cat seem very similar in that way,” she said. “I do have a few designed that are supposed to look nice but also be functional.” She grabbed her sketchbook.

Aurelie flushed slightly when Valentina mentioned Cat’s name, hoping that the other girl hadn’t noticed. She nodded, interested, as she leaned in to see the sketchbook.

Valentina showed her a few sketches of outfits with pants with long flowing gorgeous shirts.

“Whoa, those are amazing,” Aurelie gushed, her eyes widening slightly at the drawings. “You’re really good.”

"Thank you!" she said getting up and getting something out of the closet. It was the outfit in the sketch.

“You’re so talented,” Aurelie remarked, studying the outfit with delight. She could barely stitch together a scarf, let alone make an entire outfit, not to mention designing it.

"Thank you. Would you like to try it on? I haven't had anyone try this design yet," She said her smile widening.

“Oh, um, if you want,” Aurelie replied, slightly flustered for the first time since arriving. She wasn’t used to this sort of thing.

"I'd love to see my design on someone," Valentina said handing her the outfit. There was a divider in the room as a sort of makeshift changing room.

“Okay,” Aurelie replied. She took it gingerly and walked around behind the divider.

Valentina sat down and waited for Aurelie. She flipped through her sketchbook.

Aurelie walked back, opening the divider shyly. She tossed her behind her to display the outfit in a brief show of her regal confidence before once again acting shy.

Valentina smiled looking at Aurelie modeling her design. "You look gorgeous," She said standing up.

She blushed. “Oh, uh, thanks,” she replied awkwardly.
