After starting some eggs and waffles, he headed over to the spare bedroom. He knocked softly " Kritanta? Marissa? You two awake?"

"kritanta~, Jas is calling us," Melissa wined.
"Just a little bit longer!" Kritanta yelled through the door continuing to kiss her beloved.

Jas laughed softly "it's okay, I just came by to tell you breakfast will be ready in 30 minutes," he shook his head with a smile, as he headed back to the kitchen to check up on the food

Melissa came out the door with her shirt half down and Kritanta who was holding her head. "She's so vicious!" Kritanta wined. "Why did you hit me?"
"That's only because you wouldn't get up!" Melissa yelled. "Don't make me hit you again."
"Yes, Darling."

Jas laughed at hearing the commotion in the hall "keep it down, Jas is resting," he said, leaning against the wall and shaking his head with a smile. Jas headed back to their bedroom to check on Nick

Nick’s breathing was soft as he fell asleep a while back.

Jas climbed in next to him and stroked his hair "my love," he whispered softly "breakfast is almost ready,"

He hummed softly and whispered, “Okay. Do I have to get up?” He asked I a weak voice.

"want me to bring it here? Or do you want to see if you can get up?" He asked with a tilt of his head.

“I want to try,” he smiled lightly trying to sit up, but his severe injury wouldn’t let him. “I’m sorry for being a burden.”

Jas shook his head "you're not." he wrapped his arms around Nick's waist and helped him sit up.

“Thank you Jas,” he smiled softly. “Did I mention I love you?”

"of course, love. And yes you have. I love you too." He pressed a kiss to his head before standing up "I'll be right back with breakfast."

Nick nodded with his smile.

"you two done fighting?" Jas asked as he entered the kitchen to find Kritanta and Melissa in the kitchen. He found a few plates and started serving the eggs and waffles

“Thank you for the food!” They both said in sync. “Yes we are right?” Melissa asked.
“Yes Darling,” Kritanta said.

Jas ldughed "oh my gosh that's creepy…." He handed them both a plate of food before heading to the bedroom with two more plates

Nick’s frown disappeared when Jas walked in. “You’re back!”

"oh hush, I know that Ile is for the food I bring," he teased, passing a plate to him before sitting down on the bed

"No, it's because you cam back in the room," he chuckled and kissed Jas before starting to eat. "To me you're the main course."

"hmmm, sure," he mumbled against his lips. He giggled and pulled away to begin eating "nope, I'm the dessert."

"Whatever you say," he mumbled while the food was in his mouth. He ate slowly because of his injury and he just wasn't hungry. For once in his life, he wasn't hungry. "I'm full," he said pushing away the rest of his food.

Jas glanced up worriedly "you're sure? you didn't really eat much," he glanced down at the plate then back up at Nick "still not feeling well?"`

"Yeah, I'm sure," he nodded, looking up at Jas. "I'm fine, don't worry about it," he smiled touching Jas's cheek.

He nuzzled into his hand "My job is to worry about you, love." he sighed softly and pressed a kiss to his wrist.

"Well, I get to protect you to, you got that," Nick smiled and lighly kissed Jas.
"JAS! I KNOW WHERE HE IS THAT ONE WHO TRIED TO KILL NICK!!! I'll come back at a differnt time," she started to walk away seeing as they where kissing and she had gotten the wrong idea.

Jas pulled away slightly to answer Kritanta but was pulled back in by nick,"my love…" he murmured, kissing him back hungrily

Kritanta shut the door but placed her ear to the door.
Nick smiled against Jas's lips as his hand moved to Jas's neck. "Be careful with me okay?"

He shivered beneath his touch "only.ig you promise to do the same," he whispered against the other's kiss
