”What’s our plan for once we encounter this mysterious Piper?” Alice asked her shipmates.

Dawn hummed in response.before facing her. "I don't know but I'm assuming that we can either go in peacefully or aggressively."

Peter smirked. “One of those options sounds good, and the other one sounds like it definitely won’t work. I doubt a fearsome guy like him would take to some peaceful
negotiations. Besides, I do enjoy a good fight, myself.”

“It’s always good to be prepared,” Ella countered. “And I’m actually not a cyborg, that would mean some part of me was human.”

Alice chuckled, her gauntlet covered hand twitching slightly at the thought of a fight. ”I doubt he’s that fearsome.” she smirked remembering what she went through in Wonderland.

"We banded togather because of our pasts and became a team. Let's hope we remember that when we go up against the Piper." Dawn said quietly, almost sadly.

"Yeah yeah, tell it to someone who cares. I'd like to get that bounty and buy a planet." Ravenna said offhandedly

Peter noticed her shift in tone. “Is everything okay Dawn?” he asked, wondering why she seemed upset. The Piper was just another guy, so why did she seem sad?

Ella rolled her eyes. “Good for you. I’d just rather I don’t have to get rebooted again, myself. If you want to go in without caution and die then that’s up to you.”

Dawn had perfected an almost realistic fake smile and that is what she had on her face when she faced Peter. "Yeah, it's fine, I'm fine." She said and gently steered the ship onto the surface of the planet. She brought up the on board AI, Myth.ixo, commonly called Mythi. "Mythi, brief us on the conditions of this planet so we are equipped to exit the ship." She said

Alice raised a brow at Dawn’s too easy dismissal. Something clearly was bothering her… but she didn't want to talk about it. Just like how Alice rarely talked about Wonderland… Or at least what really happened there. She let out a soft sigh and turned her attention to Mythi.

Mythi blinked at them twice before speaking. "Planet Anastasia, largest planet, of 10 in the Czarina system, has an earth-like atmosphere however you will need to keep an air tank on you at all times. Their is animal and plant life on here. Several plants are also alive, moving and eating. It is a very peaceful planet. There is intelligent life on this planet as you know. I advise you to stay away from the mountains as it is not safe for non-native if this planet what so ever." They said

“So, cool plants and animals, mountains sound like fun,” Peter responded, pretending to take notes as he flashed a charming grin. He knew he was being annoying but that was one of his favorite pastimes.

Alice sighed, ”What do you think the odds are that this Piper is going to go directly to the mountains?” The living plants thing didn't phase her in the least.

"The Piper is a native of this planet. If he is going anywhere, it'll be here." Dawn said, heading to the supply room and grabbing a couple Oxy-tanks. She tossed one ti each member and took one for herself before testing to the airlock. "Shall we?"

Peter nodded, a bit more serious but with a hint of humor in his demeanor. “Let’s go kick some Piper ass,” he cheered, gearing up.

Alice adjusted her Oxy-tank and stood next to Dawn at the door. ”Will we know the guy when we see him or is he good a making himself disappear as well?” She almost always had a million questions just before a job.

Dawn stayed quiet for a second before nodding. "He will be fairly easy to recognise." She responded

“That’s good,” Peter added with a nod, rolling forward on the balls of his feet. “Anything else that we need to know in order to not die?”
