"So, tell me," Leah began, looking down at Alpha as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Where is your crew going right now?"

"I was thinkin' we would go to Trieste, roun' up some honeys an' then set off to the palace to turn ya in fer a bounty."

"Honeys," Leah scoffed, shaking her head. Rounding up sounds more like knocking them out and taking them without their consent. "The palace for a bounty? What do the Royals want with us?" She continued, interested by the last part of Alpha's comment.

"You're a disturbance. No one likes ya. The Royals think you guys should go away 'cuz yer 'rupting their trade business and such." Alpha spit at her shoes.

"Did they give you money to do this?" Leah asked, taking a small step back from the man. From what she had heard so far, the Royals were sponsoring the Crygs.

"Obviously." he grinned, gold tooth flashing.

"What else do you know?" Leah questioned, a grimace spreading across her face as the man grinned.

He itched to crack his knuckles. "I'll tell ya all abou' them. . . for a price."

". . .What do you want?" Leah asked a long pause, looking down at the man as she raised a brow. She already knew that she wouldn't like this price.

"I want my son." Alpha looked up at her. "I want my son."

"Why," Leah answered slowly, instead of snapping, You're not going to get him. She knew what it was like wanting your family back.

"He's all I have left. My last tie towards sanity. The remnant of my wife. I need his. . .help. I'm not who I used to be. My son. . .he can help me go back to the way I was." his voice was choked and his words were measured carefully.

Leah bit her bottom lip as she thought, glancing around the ship until she finally settled her gaze back on Alpha. She could talk to Kameo about it, but she was doubtful that he would accept. After all, he had been through. . . maybe seeing his Cryg father wasn't the best. "I'll think about it," Leah sighed after a long pause. "Did anyone on your crew have anything against Cicada Cardoso?"

"Not that I know of. Maybe. . .Kalm? He had a real thing fro catching ya'll. I think he just wanted the money."

Leah nodded, glancing up towards the ocean, but quickly returning her gaze towards the man. "Anything else you want to tell me?" She asked, tapping her foot on the deck.

"No." for a minute there, he did not look like Alpha, leader of the Crygs, instead, he looked like a broken man, who'd lost everything.

Leah nodded faintly and turned around, walking back towards the infirmary. Hopefully, Cicada had turned up already.

(HAHAHAHAHA Good joke. Cicada being in the infirmary I mean. Not you being gone, that's perfectly fine! We all need off time.)

Cicada surveyed her surroundings. There was a boy in the cell across from her. She tested her voice out as she said, "Hello?"
