The shadows where chittering. Finally, one looked up, spotting her. It pointed, and soon both shadows were scrambling up the wall to get to her. They roared, alerting the others.

"God damn it. I thought that this would be easy but of COURSE NOT!" She sighed and brought out her holy katana, inlaid with the bones of the virgin mary(I stole this from a comic so don't blame me) And dropped down, slicing away at them as she fought her way over to the room, and went over to you, and undid the bindings.
Logan rubbed his wrists, looking up at her.
"I told you not to get involved," he said quietly.
"But thank you."
"I'm a hero. Telling a hero not to get involved like triples the likelihood of a hero getting involved. Now to get you outta here…" She looked outside, to see more shadows making their way to the room, and then looked at you. "Hmmm…."
Logan looked up at her, standing.
"Don't try; I've been here before. You can't escape without outside help. And now that you're in here… that's no longer an option."
She laughed. "Oh honey." She rolled her eyes. "Is this warehouse magical? Like other than portal thingie?"
He nodded.
"Plus, an entire army of Shadow Demons. Took my mom ages to get through to rescue me last time."
She looks at her Katana. "Well I've got the shadow demons taken care of. So let's say I blew up a wall. Would it just rebuild? Or the ceiling?"
"No. But there is a barrier that holds everything inside." Logan looked around.
"Seems we're stuck here together, for a while." He turned back to her.
"I'm Logan, by the way. Sorry you had to get mixed up in my family's drama."
"Evelyn. Actually, I've been caught up in much worse. Any way to break the barrier?" She asked, looking at him as she stood at the door, casually stabbing shadow demons while talking to you.
He shook his head.
"Not unless you have access to the deepest, most ancient dimensional powers. Which you don't."
"You understimate me and my connections." She clapped her hands. "LUCIFER GET YOUR ASS UP HERE!" A great cloud of black smoke came up, and he appeared. Tall, thin, black hair long hair, and red burning eyes. She sighed and glared up at him. "Look. I don't care what you do but get us out of here." "It's nice to see you too , Evelyn."
Logan blinked a few times.
"Oh boy… Mom's really not gonna be happy about this…"
She looked at you and shrugged. "I've been friends with Satan for years. Now then. If you get us outta here, SAFELY. Theeeen…I dunno. I'll blow up something you hate. Nothing to big." He taps his fingers on his chin. "Alright Chaos it's a deal." They shook hands and bam! You two are teleported outside of the building. "Alright…where the hell are we?"
Logan blinked at the exchange.
"Um… ten miles from town, to the north."
"Great. And all I have is rollerskates. Welp." She presses a button on her suit and in an instant she was back in her regular everyday clothes. "Ya get used to the crazy." She said with a shrug, smiling.
"Ya preaching to the choir." Logan chuckled, then looked out.
"So… how are we gonna get back? Usually, my mom just takes me back home. I- I don't know what to do…"
"We could wait for your mom, but honestly I'm to damn impatient for that. We could walk back." She shrugs. "Hey…hey. Breath alright? We'll figure it out." She takes out her phone and does some searching. "I have 4 siblings who can pick us up."
Logan looked at her, forcing himself to breathe slowly.
"O-Okay… okay." He shivered slightly; he didn't like it when things went differently than they usually did. Or when his mom wasn't there; she made everything turn out right.
She sighed and texted one of them, and then went over and looked into your eyes. "Breath slowly. We'll be okay. Magestro is here to save the day. Or well at least try to. Alright? Just breath. Clear your mind. We'll be alright."
Logan nodded, taking deep breaths. In, hold, out slowly. Just like he had been taught.
"Thanks," he said, calming down.
"You're welcome. A lot of my friends have anxiety problems and stuff, it's what a hero does." She gives you a light shoulder hug. "My siblings as well. We'll be fine, just gotta go with the flow ya know?"
He nodded.
"Most of the people in my life don't know much about anxiety, so it can really get rough sometimes. It's nice to know there are other people who know how to help other than my mom." He smiled, blushing slightly at the shoulder hug. He wasn't used to people touching him.
She shrugged. "I've done my research. I have slight anxiety issues myself, so I know what it's like." She grinned, a cheery smile indeed.
Logan put his hands in his pockets lazily, having calmed down most of the way.
"So, what no-" He was interrupted by the sound of a wall falling down. There, in the hole, was the Shadow Master. Logan squeaked, ducking behind her.
She smirked. 'Adorable' She thought then looked at the shadow master and rolled her eyes. "Great. See I KNEW there was gonna be a boss fight." She sighed and stood there, not even phased at all. "Cmon where's the PRESENTATION?!?!?!? Villians just don't have any STYLE anymore, even the old ones have lost their spark. Letting the minions make them seem all lazy, I tell ya. It's sad, really. Lazy."
The Shadow Master raised an eyebrow, then raised his staff.
"You're not going to be able to take him down," Logan warned.
"Hold on." Her suit begins to glow. "We'll just see about that."
The enemy made rapid gestures with his hand and staff, murmuring in an ancient, forgotten language. He glowed as well, rising above the ground. Logan whimpered in fear.
"Hey that's 30th level demonic! Only…Demonic Royalty can speak that anymore, and really high officials and what not."
