(ok, so I was thinking that if we're bored with the Lucifer plotline we could swap it out for a final boss)

(final boss for what?)

(y'know, like a final battle type deal. like we have to fight a monster or something to get everyone back to their own universes)

(Kinda depends on whether we still need to do anything with Lucifer if Asura's no longer involved, I guess….?)

(well that kinda makes sense. I mean maybe we could fight Lucifer to keep him from destroying something? idk)

(would Lucifer try to destroy dimensions or something? bc maybe he could be trying to do that and we could stop him?)

(well we could do that but I'd need to come up with a really, really good reason for him to)

(…uhh…..he went crazy? Or maybe he feels cynical and defeatist and wants to return everything to the void? Or maybe he thinks there are too many dimensions and he needs yo to some "cleaning"? idk)

(maybe he could be trying to get to some other character? like he's trying to destroy the multiverse to destroy another god or something?)

(he's a pretty calm, professional guy so in order for him to do something like that he would need to have something emotionally destroy him and drive him crazy. or we could just use a different version of Lucifer)

(wait, what if he was infected by something? in my storyline there's a 'parasite' called phantom jade that's able to infect gods and drive them crazy. maybe we could use that?)

(ooo that would be pretty cool)

(that sounds creepy as heck, I love it XDD and that would explain why none of the other gods would want to help, cuz they wouldn't want to get infected)

(wait wait wait okay so the universe that Lucifer is in is very isolated so usually, things don't leave or enter that universe. But if Lucifer's ring gets destroyed [the one that was used to put curses on people and banish them] then somebody who holds a grudge against Lucifer could bring the parasite into his universe)

(yeah the stuff has a lot of variations but the basic version corrupts gods and drives them crazy. it's curable if you get rid of it soon enough, so maybe we could be trying to cure Lucifer while also stopping him from destroying everything?)

(and it's not a conventional parasite, it's basically a living crystal that can be melted down and kept liquid to use as an injection. maybe Lucifer got injected or someone slipped the stuff in his drink?)

(wait can Asura do it)

(sure, since I know Asura is supposed to hate him and all)
