Cedarkit rolled over, pushing Fleetkit off her body. Her jaw dropped open when she heard Dewkit, though. "How'd you do that how'd you do that??" she asked, padding up to her.

Dewkit looked at Cedarkit. "I just thought about how serious it would be in real life, and remembered what the leader said last time there was a funeral." She turned back to the pile. "You can come out now Mosskit!" Mosskit crawled out of the pile, which ended up leaving leaves scattered all over the place.

"Alright now kits. Come here." Dewkit said, sounding very motherly. Featherkit, Wetkit, and Mudkit lined up next to Fleetkit, while Dewkit padded in front of them. "Sit still, Mudkit! Wetkit, you don't play with leaves during your apprentice ceremony do you? Featherkit, don't slouch. Fleetkit, put the stick down, please." She said, flicking her tail on the kits' shoulders.
