Hunter laughed, leaning back and laying his head down on Kenzie's lap, smirking mischievously at her.
"You're so cute when you're flustered," he said, reaching out to twirl a strand of her hair.

Kenzie gave him a small, still-somewhat-flustered smile and ran her hand through his hair.

"It would seem that you like seeing me flustered," she murmured, looking down at him.

"Of course," Hunter murmured, closing his eyes. That wasn't good. Exhaustion seemed to creep back at him, and the few minute nap he took didn't help. Thank heavens Kenzie didn't notice. "I like seeing what kind of an effect I have on you…"

"You look tired," Kenzie mused, noticing the dark circles under Hunter's eyes and the sleepy way he talked. "Do you want to finish up here so that you can go sleep?"

"I think I'm comfortable right here," Hunter murmured. "Besides, I missed eating your food."

Kenzie smiled.

"Well, do you want to eat, then? 'Cause the pie's going to get cold if we don't eat soon."

(Bumping.)

"Eh, whatever you feed me, I'll eat," Hunter teased.

"If I feed you, we're going to end up in a food fight," Kenzie teased, smiling down at Hunter. "Because I'm going to have a hard time trying to not smush food in your face."

"Wouldn't that be a waste of food?" he said. "Or maybe it's just an excuse."
