Are you upset, miss?

I believe you are experiencing feelings of frustration. Take deep breaths, in and out.
(Also, could you describe a little more about Brooklyn's hurt arm?)

I believe you are experiencing feelings of frustration. Take deep breaths, in and out.
(Also, could you describe a little more about Brooklyn's hurt arm?)
(well it's not broken, but it's not quite sprained
i'm kinda imagining it as having bruises on it and to maybe be dislocated, but it's been dislocated and then sprained so it's in a lot of pain)
Brooklyn gritted her teeth and ignored both the voice and the 'medical assistance'. She tried to focus on something else, hoping that it might take her mind off her arm. She still had to fix her left arm, as it's wiring was off.
(okay
and also, wiring? i'm intrigued by brooklyn's character already. :D)
(The MA took Brooklyn's arm gently in it's small robotic arms, and a blue light flashed over it. "Scanning…" it said in a monotone voice.)
.
.
.
May I have your name, Miss?
Brooklyn winced as the 'medical assistance' touched her arm. She heard it say 'scanning' as a blue light washed over her arm. She ignored the voice, as it definitely didn't need to know her name.
("Your arm appears to be sprained, and it is covered in bruises. I suggest putting it in a splint, and taking it easy on that arm for a couple weeks," the MA finally said after a couple seconds of silence. It reached inside a small hole, one that only it could reach into and pulled out a splint, about the size for Brooklyn's arm. Of course, it was only guessing at the size, and wasn't sure if it would fit. "Please tell me if the splint doesn't work.")
The pain wasn't gone, but it was easier for her to move without as much pain. "It's fine." She then used the 'medical assistance' as a hold to stand up, knowing that it probably wouldn't like it but that she needed to be on her feet. "Could you maybe take me to an engineering lab? I need to fix my arm."
("An engineering lab?" it slowly repeated. "I. Do. Not. Compute," it added, which was the truth. It was programmed for one purpose only, and couldn't understand the second sentence Brooklyn spoke. But the last one, it did understand. "An arm cannot be fixed, it must heal.")
I believe there is a robotics lab on the ship somewhere, but I am not sure.

Now opening 'Official Map of the Hypatia'
"Well you're f**king helpful," Brooklyn sighed as she leaned against the wall. She listened to the voice, unsure if it was trying to help or not.

Thank you! This appears to be a digital file that has not been damaged by the attack the Hypatia has suffered. Do you have any digital devices on you that I can send the file to?
(The MA rolled away silently. AIDAN's lilting voice seemed to rise up a bit more than usual at then end, as if he would be smiling, if he could.)
"No, I don't have anything that you can send the file to! And even if I did, it would probably be broken!" She went to rub the bridge of her nose, then remembered that none of her arms would be able to do it. "How about you just tell me where I can go to find it?"
I am picking up electrical signals coming from a rectangular shaped object in the room next to you. However, from what I can piece together of my fragmented memory banks, there are also things they call 'eBooks' that are also rectangular in shape.
(is the object an ebook or is it something else?)
(It's essentially a screen on top of a rectangular shaped "case" with the title of the book on the "spine")
(oh ok, just wanted to check)
"An eBook? What's that? No, I feel like I know what that is, but I can't remember. Don't tell me. Why would an eBook be able to take the ship plans, or whatever it is you want me to have?"
(yeah, it's fine. i get it)
I am simply letting you know that this object I sense could not be an electronic device, because tablets and eBooks look exactly the same.
.
.
.
Is my information outdated?
"I don't know, probably. Why don't you just tell me how to get to main control? Or even the lab itself? I really need to fix my arm: I can survive with one arm in a splint, but not while my other one isn't working."
I can direct you to a possible electronic device, which I can then send you the most up to date map of the Hypatia I have.
Brooklyn sighed. "I guess. Just do it. I really do need to fix my arm. I'll wait for anything at this point in time."
You should head out into the hallway, through the doorway directly in front of you. There have been some problems with the wiring systems, so there is no lighting. Take a sharp right, and another right into the room next door. I have no cameras installed there, so once you enter the room, you are on your own.
Brooklyn listened to the voice as it told her where to go, then started to do as it told. She wasn't excited for it, but she had to fix her arm immediately.
I will attempt to send the file to the potential device. If successful, the screen should light up. No guarantees.
Brooklyn entered a dark room. Everything else had been dark, but she'd at least been able to see where she was going. Now it was completely pitch black. She couldn't see anything that was inside or even where she entered. She slowly started to freak out, her heart racing.
(Inside AIDAN's servers, a notification was sent to him. Successfully verified device. The unknown object is a HypatiaPad Pro tablet. The tablet was facing down, and as the screen lit up, the edges of the screen lit up faintly.)
The file has been sent.
A light suddenly appeared in the room, and Brooklyn turned around to see it. She could just make out the shape of a tablet as she saw the light, with the ring of light emitting from it. She began to walk over.
(The file was just your everyday map on graph paper, in blue ink, with detailed drawings of the Hypatia.)
Do you see said tablet?
As Brooklyn reached and picked the glowing object up, the light was quite bright. She squinted to try and adjust her eyes to the light, which they did surprisingly quickly. "Yeah, it's here in my hands."
Okay, good. There should be a box on the screen, that says something like "AirDrop: File received from ID#AIDAN01." Tap the box, and the map should appear.
(ugh i did a reply but it didn't post)
Brooklyn stared at the screen to see where the box was. She waited until it popped up, and saw that it was labeled the same way that the voice had said. She tapped to box and waited for it to load. Almost immediately a map came up, and she began to look for where the lab was located in comparison to her.
(oof)
(The lab wasn't far away from Brooklyn, only a couple of rooms away. The lab contained shards of broken glass from beakers, and chairs and tables were sprawled out on the floor, some even upside down. The sudden attack on the Hypatia had really damaged the whole ship, rocking it back and forth very rapidly. The light switch in the room didn't work either, the wires had been shaken so much that they had detached from each other and the wall. The only source of light in the room was the emergency light up ahead, which glowed dimly, but enough to make out the objects in the room, and some details.)
Do you see said map?
"Hmm? Oh, yeah," Brooklyn replied. She'd forgotten that the voice couldn't see her in here, and she'd gotten straight into trying to find the lab. She began to follow the path towards the lab using the map, which had a dot that would move depending on where the tablet was located.
