Laura had blanked out of reality. She looked around at the empty classroom and jumped up, gathering her things quickly. She ran out the door, and stopped when she saw Levi standing there waiting. She hugged her bag closer, and walked over to him. "Uh, hey."
(I checked, sorry for the wait!)
Zanna didn't understand why CC stuttered when she did or the strange actions afterward. They paid it no mind and went to get food, "I guess it is."
(It's fine lol <3)
He turned to her at the corner of his lips lifted into a little curve ever so slightly when he heard her voice. He looked down at her, pushing down his smile. Which was rare for him to have to do. He never had a smile to actually push down. But today was a good day. "I take it you got my note?" He says running his fingers through his hair accidentally making the Bobby pin fall down with a little "clink" on the floor.
Lorelei silently followed Laura, not really saying much.
Laura giggled, catching sight of Lori. "Hey, you grab a table, I'll be right there." She said to Lori. She turned back to Levi. "Here, need help with that?" She asked picking up the bobby pin off the floor.
(Oof, I totally forgot about this)
Rowan sighed and took a seat in the back if the cafeteria, headphones on and ignoring everyone around him.
He quickly backed away "nope nope nope. That was on the floor." He says reaching in his pocket and grabbing the Bobby pin from earlier that was tucked in his book. He handed it to her, "here use this. Your hands are clean right?" He asks her as he bends down slightly, letting her fix his hair, his curl falling in his face again.
She smiled. "Germaphobe?" She asked pulling out hand sanitizer. She put a squirt on her hand and rubbed her hand together. She gently pulled the curl out of his face and securing it. She blushed slight as she ran her hands though his hair.
"Actually it's OCD along with diagnosed anxiety. But… I guess you could say a germaphobe if you want." He says as she ran her fingers through his soft hair. He needed to wash it again today. He washed it last night, but it had gotten plenty dirty over that time span. Well to him anyway.
"Yes," she replied softly, scurrying to the cafeteria. She sat down at a random table, setting her sketchbook down and opening it. She was more than happy to start drawing.
She pulled her fingers away nodding. "Here." She said fidgeting with her bag. She tried to avoid his gorgeous eyes.
He touched it slightly then looked backa t her, standing straight up again, towering over her. He hated how he was 6'3 but he couldn't do anything about it. Plus he lowkey liked looking down on people. But it was really annoying when there was something, or even someone he wanted to look at and admire there beauty but he can't without bending down and seeming weird.
"Thank you." He says softly
She shyly looked up at him. "Yeah…no problem." She really didn't know what was wrong with her. She just yearned to hold his hand, and had no clue why!
He turned around and looked in the halls, noticing they were the only ones there. "Shall we go then?" He asks her trying to avoid staring at her for longer than need be. He was a gentleman, not a creep. Far from it.
She slightly nodded. "Yeah, I don't want to keep Lori waiting for too long." She said playfully punching his arm.
"You're very lucky I have a high pain tolerance" he halfway joked as he started walking down the hall. He held the door open for Laura once they got there. "Where are we sitting?" He asks
She scanned the crowd looking for the familiar. She smiled when she saw the top of Lori's head. She pointed to her. "Over there, you see her?" She asked not realizing she had put a hand on his shoulder. That was just her thing.
"Oh…Lorelei correct?" He asks her as he looks at the girl then back at her. His blue eyes flashing from place to place in the lunchroom.
"Mhmm, that's her." She said power walking over to her, grabbing Levi's forearm. She gave a bright smile and waved with her free hand.
Levis arm tensed up automatically, causing his arn to flex (is that correct granmar? Oh well lol) when she grabbed it. He didn't resist or anything, though he was quite muscular, so he very well could. After all, she did just clean her hands anyway.
Zanna finished grabbing her food and looked to the crowded cafeteria. They didn't know where she would be sitting considering most of the tables had been claimed already.
Lorelei was too investing in her drawing, and was hunched over, pencil in hand. She didn't make a lunch today, so she was skipping the meal. But then again, she always skipped lunch. It was simply easier to lose herself in her artwork.
CC walked by Zanna with her lunch in her hands. "Hey, i normally either go on the roof. I mean I know it's not allowed or anything but… I've never gotten caught" she says with a smile.
"I would rather not," Zanna responded looking at CC, "It's much easier to eat in the cafeteria. Fewer footsteps before and after lunch."
"Oh….okay," she says with a smile. She was a little disappointed. But it was alright. "Oh! There's an empty table over there!" She says pointing one out near the back.
"Can we sit with other people?" Zanna asked CC. Her voice hardly reflected that it was a question, but you could figure it out, "I'm trying to work on my 'social skills'. At least that's what the teachers tell me to do."
She was a bit shocked but after all, she didn't really know Zanna.
"S-sure! What about over there" she pointed over to where Levi, Laura and Lori was sitting.
Zanna gave a nod as she looked to a few familiar faces, "I don't see why not. Let's go." They began making their way to the table tray in hand. They really did just want to sit with them, these people. Intrigued her to say the least. She didn't want CC to know that so they came up with the excuse.
