Silene steped a bit closer and did an awkward wave "Hi, I'm Silene." She said shyly.

Riann nodded slowly and studied the girl, a habit that she had developed since she was young. "Beautiful name." She finally said. Silene is a genus of flowering plants in the family Caryophyllaceae. Riann thought, facts from a book flooding her head.

"Thanks." Silene replied, "What's your name?" She adjusted her bad on her shoulder.
(I might have to go too.)

"Riann Almonte." She answered, glancing at the bag on Silene's shoulder.

Silene looked surprised. "Almonte as in…" She cleared her throat. "Royalty?"

"I don't like to associate myself to them." Riann replied briskly, brushing a loose strand of dark hair behind her ear.

Silene nodded, "Gotcha."
I don't want to pry. She thought. "What about your parents?" She blurted out, regretting it as soon as the words escaped. "Sorry." She looked away. "You don't have to answer that."

Breeze thought to herself, A royal who denies her royalty. Huh.

"It's fine. You saw my brother just now." Riann explained. "My parents haven't exactly been kind to me. . . all they wanted was land and power."

Felix had to go. He let go of Riann's hand and waited until he could say goodbye without intruding on her conversation.

Riann felt Felix's hand slip out of hers. She looked over to him, her gaze questioning.

"I have to go." he kissed her cheek and smiled, "See you again someday?"

"Hopefully. Don't die, okay?" Riann said, looking up at Felix.

Breeze was quite interested in the relationship between the ex-princess and this guard.

"Yeah." Felix walked away, waving without looking behind himself. Caspian jumped out of the caravan.
"Tell me you beat her up."
"Um, yeah, I totally did."
"Really?"
"No."

Cade smirked at Riann. "So, you and Felix huh? I always thought you'd fall for a brunette."

Riann opened her mouth to say something, but shut it when nothing came out. Instead she replaced it with a scowl. "He-I-we. No. We're like siblings." She stammered.

Chiara smirked, arching an eyebrow. “Mmhm.”

"Mhm sure." Cade chuckled. "Siblings don't kiss each other on the cheek. Siblings don't look at each other that way. Trust me, I have two sisters and one brother. That's not how it works."

Breeze giggled, but quickly put a hand over her mouth to muffle the sound.
