“Indeed you are right,” River smiled and walked with Cas.
“Indeed you are right,” River smiled and walked with Cas.
Cas yawned as they walked, occasionally bumping into River in his sleepy state.
River chuckled and put his arm around River trying to keep him stable.
"What's for breakfast today, Riv?" Cas asked tiredly, rubbing at his eyes with his free hand.
“That I do not know,” River opened the door and looked around. “Looks like waffles.”
"Cool…" Cas grabbed a plate and went to sit down.
River did the same and sat down next to Cas. Do you want to go and get the kitty back today?" River asked.
"Yeah, sure. Sounds good." He yawned before taking a bite of waffle.
"How come you're so tired. You weren't going off to the night and sneaking around were you?" River looked over to Cas as he poured syrup over his waffle before he started eating it.
Cas shook his head. "I'm just not a morning person like, at all… it takes me a long time to really wake up."
"hm. I get that way when I start school," RIver chuckled continuing to eat.
"Ugh… still not excited for that." He shoved another forkful of waffle into his mouth.
"Well, get excited. Once we get back it's back to school shopping so be prepared," River patted Cas''s head and finished the rest of his waffle.
"I don't wanna be excited… school sounds shitty…" He whined, resting his head on one hand.
"Langue Cas," River teased. "It isn't fun, but it helps succeed in life." River pointed out as he got up to wash his plate.
Cas followed River, sighing. "I don't even know what I want to do as an adult anyways."
"I'll tell you the first thing you'll do is be my husband," River smirked scrubbing his dish down.
Cas blushed, scrubbing his own plate. "We gotta wait for a bit, love. At least till I'm eighteen. You're older than me, so you'll be of age first."
"Well, at least you didn't disagree," RIver smiled and dried his plate. He put it on one of the stacks of plates. River stood in the door was and waited for Cas.
"Well, I agreed to the promise ring, so yeah. I've already agreed to marry you." Cas shrugged, following him.
River chuckled and started walking back to the bung with Cas. “Think you can go boating on your own?”
"Uh…" Cas took River's hand, looking away. "Probably not."
“Well, then let’s get your kitty who did you leave her with?” River asked.
"The nurse." Cas steered River over to the nurse's tent.
They both walked in the tent. “Hey, we’re back. This time Cas is perfectly fine. We’re here for the kitty Cas left behind.
"Oh! Sure, here she is." The nurse handed Maisie to Cas. "She's quite popular with the patients." Cas held onto the kitten carefully so he wouldn't hurt her.
"Thanks for taking care of her for me."
"No problem, Cas."
“Thank you,” Nick smiled and walked out with Cas. “She’s bigger now. Might have to feed her a little more now.”
"Mhmm." Cas put Maisie on his shoulder. "She seems to be doing pretty well, though."
“Yeah. Now we wait until activities start,” River smiled and started walking back to the bung.
Cas nodded, following River back. He set Maisie on the bed once they arrived.
