Aki chuckled quietly, peppering gentle kisses along his face, neck and shoulders. Aki held him close, his hand running through Cas's hair.
Aki chuckled quietly, peppering gentle kisses along his face, neck and shoulders. Aki held him close, his hand running through Cas's hair.
"Mornings are stupid…" He mumbled, seeming a little consoled by Aki's affection, at least.
Aki chuckled. "Yes… But that means sleepy snuggles and tired kisses." He replies, kissing Cas's lips gently.
Cas nodded tiredly. "It takes me a really long time to like, actually wake up… I just wanna go back to sleeeep…" He whined, his eyes falling shut again.
Aki kissed his nose before chuckling gently. "I know angel… But it's time to start the day." he slowly sits up and sighs gently.
Cas stayed down for another minute or two before he reluctantly sat up. "Ugh… I really wish I didn't have responsibilities sometimes…"
Aki chuckled and sighed happily as he got up from bed, stretching in a relaxed manner. "I know. But let's make the most of today." He says cheerfully.
He nodded tiredly and forced himself to his feet. He headed over to his closet and soon came out in his typical princely garb. "I hate these… they're really uncomfortable most of the time." He tugged at the tight collar of his shirt.
Aki hummed as he stood and tapped his necklace. He instantly shifted into his female form and he groaned. "Well…. We'll just have to make due!" He mutters before walking to Cas's side, kissing him sweetly.
Cas nodded and took Aki by the arm, leading him out of the room. "Where would you like to go first?"
"I think breakfast is in order." Aki replies, kissing his forehead gently. He grinned at the other, sighing in bliss. This was wonderful.
"Of course, my love." Cas smiled softly, leading Aki towards the kitchen. "Would you like to come in with me this time?"
"I'd love to." he mutters softly, sighing in content as he walked with Cas. He was undeniably in love with the other, and he would do anything to keep Cas safe.
Cas brought Aki into the room and greeted the cooks politely. "What would you like to eat, princess Aria?"
Aki follows quietly and smiles a little bit at Cas's kindness to the cooks. "Something to go." He replies softly. "Or at least something I can munch on while we walk?" He asks curiously.
Cas nodded and got a couple muffins and pieces of bacon from the cooks. He thanked them as they headed out, splitting the food between Aki and himself.
Aki took the food thankfully and nibbled on the bacon before taking a bite out of the muffin. "This is really good…" He mutters softly after swallowing. He kisses Cas's cheek gently.
"I'm glad you like it, love." Cas smiled and took a bite of his own muffin. "You can just head down to the kitchens and get whatever you want, whenever you want it."
"That sounds nice. But I'm pretty sure I'd get lost." he giggles, kissing Cas's lips chastely before humming happily as he finished his muffin and began nibbling at the bacon.
"Eh, you get used to it." Cas yawned and finished his food. "Especially if you're going to be living here now."
"That's true." He mutters, yawning as well. "But still, I'd rather be at your side then wandering the castle alone." He replies, squeezing Cas's hand.
Cas smiled again and kept walking. "Where would you like to go now?"
"How about the library?" He asks curiously. "If that's okay?"
"Sounds good to me." Cas led Aki into a large room packed full of books. It even had one of those sliding ladder things. "I can't tell you how many times I've fallen off of that while I was messing around."
Aki gasps sharply at the amount of books waiting to be read. "It's beautiful…" he mutters in wonder. He glanced over at the other and smiled softly. "Oh really now?" he asks, kissing Cas's cheek.
Cas grinned sheepishly. "Yeah… I liked to slide around on the ladder when I was younger. It tends to get stuck at certain areas and I would just fall off. It's great fun, though."
Aki chuckled quietly before looking at the books. "There's so many… Where to start?" he looks around, his eyes wide with wonder.
"Well, the magic section is to our left on the third row." Cas shrugged, heading over there. "It's where I spend most of my time in here when I'm not falling off the ladder."
Aki nods eagerly. Who knew what new spells he could learn. He giggles as he guides Cas there before eagerly feeling along the leather bound books.
Cas tried to reach up to grab an old looking book, huffing when his fingers grazed it barely. "Damn being short…" He muttered, standing on his toes and still failing.
