he rested a hand on her shoulder and looked her over in concern. "think you can shift?" he asked softly, "I can carry you to the kitchen. "

@Fenrir

“It’s alright kitty cat,” He kissed her head sweetly and scooped her up anyways, carrying her down the stairs and to the kitchen

@Fenrir

Brink nudged her head gently and leaned against the counter for a few moment, holding her close. “My lovely cat. It’s alright.”

@Fenrir

“My poor kitty.” He sighed softly and picked her up again, moving her to the living room couch and covering her in blankets.

@Fenrir

“Whatever for my cat? You have nothing to be sorry for.” He kissed her gently before standing and going back to the kitchen to start dinner

@Fenrir

“You’re not useless.” He called from the kitchen, leaning against the threshold as he waited for the water to boil for the tea

@Fenrir

He gave her a pointed look and shook his head “that doesn’t make you useless. If anything, you deserve the rest after having to take care of two kids.”

@Fenrir

(yeah that works great!)
For the past few days and nights Brink and Jacks had been taking care of the kids and the house while Vanessa recovered. Brink felt bad that his wife couldn't really spend time with the kids but he did want her to feel better. He knocked gently.on their bedroom door before stepping inside, holding a tray with soup and bread. He set it on the nightstand before settling beside Vanessa and gently nudging her awake. "Kitty wake up." He whispered softly, brushing aside loose strands of hair that had fallen into her face

@Fenrir

"good morning my love," he murmured, pressing a kiss to his brow. "Feel like eating? I reheated some soup." He said, standing and waving to the tray he had set down

@Fenrir

He brows creased in worry as he passed a glass with the medicine. He sat beside her and rested his hand against her side. "Mom's coming today, maybe she can recommend something that'll help with that."
