He smiled happily at the sound but still held her.

she closed her eyes gently.

He would have stayed in this moment as long as she wanted to. It just felt right to him. This is probably as close to Heaven as I’ll ever get… and I am fine with that.

She looked at him and kissed him gently.

He returned the kiss just as gently.

she placed her hand on his chest.

He slid a hand to cup the back of her head. He didn't want her to know how uneasy it made him when she could feel the lack of a heartbeat in his chest.

Lysander looked at her with a small smile.

Betty heard her phone buzz and smiled hoping it was Henry.

Lysander gave her one more kiss on the cheek and let her go so she could answer the phone.

She picked up her phone ¨Hello?¨ she said.

”Kon'nichiwa, Betty!” Henry responded with an audible smile in his voice.

¨Henry¨ Betty exclaimed happily.

”I told you I’d call when I got to the house.” Henry chuckled. ”I actually beat the scheduled plane.”

¨Of course you did¨ she said with a giggle going up to her room closing the door.

”Hey, it's not a good idea for a vampire to be stuck on a multi-hour flight in a metal tube with all those live passengers.” Henry pointed out, still smiling.

¨Fair point ¨ she said.

”So… Anything new happen to you since I left?” he asked.

¨Nope I Don´t think so but you should buy me some more beanies¨ she teased.

He laughed. ”That’ll be hard over here. But I’ll get on that as soon as I get home.”

¨Yes you do that¨ she said with a giggle

”If you’d like I can get you a couple of nice Kimonos. I’m sure I can find you something you’d like.” he offered.

¨Really!? Henry Your the best!¨ she said.

”I know.” He laughed. ”But you're pretty amazing yourself.”

¨yeah, plus im adorable Im the full package¨ she teased.

Henry laughed again. ”You really are. And I'm glad to hear you say it.”

¨Yeah Yeah¨ she smiled Henry was the only one who knew her full name ´Elizabeth´

“I’m serious. I know how you were treated before but I really want you to be happy, Elizabeth.” Henry told her.
