”Yeah!” Caleb yelled as he sat up. ”I want to tell everyone!”
”Yeah!” Caleb yelled as he sat up. ”I want to tell everyone!”
Abby chuckled, sharing in Caleb’s enthusiasm but not wanting to hurt Nyt’s ears as she was still being hugged by the taller female. ”Where should we start? That speech was probably broadcast, right?”
Nyt nodded before setting Abby down gently. ”Most Sylvians know about it by now but we still need to tell humans about it!” She said smiling wide.
”I can't wait to hear Peter and Marks reaction.” Caleb said as he stood up with the help of Adar.
Abby laughed at trying to imagine their friends when they heard. ”Unfortunately, it's getting dark outside, aside from the plants… As much as I want to tell them, we may have to wait until morning.” she pointed out before chuckling. ”You two practically slept all day.”
Caleb huffed. ”True. Dang it!” He muttered. Adar pulled him into a hug. ”We did it though! We don't need to rush.” He said looking down at him.
Nyt chuckled at the two. ”How sound we celebrate?” She asked them all.
Abby shrugged. ”As long as I'm with you guys, I don't care.” she smiled genuinely before blushing at how corny that answer sounded even if it was true.
Nyt laughed. "How about we celebrate by staying in and eating?" She said.
”You know, that actually sounds perfect.” Abby nodded. ”There'll be plenty of time to have a larger celebration tomorrow at the camp.” she suggested thoughtfully.
Nyt smile. "Ours or Adars room?" She asked them all.
Abby shrugged. ”Would you guys mind if we hung out in your room?” she asked Adar and Caleb. It didn't really matter to her if they agreed or not.
Adar nodded his head. "Sure! Why not?" He said as he basically slung Caleb over his shoulder as he started to walk to their room. "Hey!" Caleb yelled as Adar did that.
”Get used to it, Caleb.” Abby teased as she put her mask back on and grabbed Caleb’s. ”Adar, you forgot this!” she reminded as she caught up to him.
(bump?)
(Sorry!!! Im super busy and I have a party today!!)
Caleb grabbed his mask from Abby and slipped it on. Adar looked back. ”Sorry!” He said to Abby and Caleb.
Nyt chuckled and scooped Abby up as well.
(It's ok. I just don't want this to die. Have fun at your party!)
Abby quickly got comfortable in Nyt's arms and smiled. ”One day we won't need them.” she assured Adar. ”Just not today.” The thought did make her almost giddy as she tried to picture everyone she knew not wearing a mask and completely fine.
(I dont want it to die either!!!)
Nyt smiled at the prospect. ”Then I can see your beautiful face all the time!” She said happily.
Abby blushed brightly at the complement. That was actually the first time Nyt had called her beautiful. Normally, it was adorable or cute or something along those lines… but beautiful? She thought back to what Ava had said about the two of them. Did Nyt really like her like that? She didn't know what to say, though she wouldn't deny the way her heart fluttered at the possibility.
Nyt chuckled when Abby blushed. ”You're so pretty!!” Nyt said, smiling down at her.
”Get a room!” Caleb yelled, still slung over Adar's shoulder and not looking up at them.
Abby's blush deepened a shade. She did like Nyt but she didn't want to make things awkward between them. That almost always seemed to happen in these kinds of relationships. Not that she had had any first-hand experience with it but… She rolled her eyes at Caleb’s comment. ”Quit staring at Adar’s tail and maybe we’ll consider it.” she teased back.
Caleb's head shot up immediately, a red blush staining his cheeks. ”I wasn't staring!” He squeaked.
”Uh-huh. Then why are you red as a tomato?” Abby smirked at him. She had just been teasing but the fact that she had been right about his actions… Oh, she was going to have fun needling him about that.
”You're blushing too.” He mumbled as he crossed his arms.
They arrived at the boys rooms and went it. It was a little bit of a mess, seeing that their were scraps of garbage and food everywhere.
”What else is new? I’ve been blushing a lot more recently.” Abby shrugged, unphased by Caleb’s reply. She sighed as she looked around the room. ”Seriously, Caleb? I know you're a guy and all but these rooms aren't really ours. It wouldn't kill you to actually put some of this in the trash can.”
Caleb stuck out his tongue. ”We just didn't feel like moving yesterday.” He said childishly.
Abby arched a teasing brow. ”Too busy being wrapped up in each other's arms?” she chuckled lightly. Honestly, the idea sounded really nice. She wouldn't mind at all if she and Nyt spent a day like that. She sighed softly at the thought. They already did more than a fair amount of snuggling.
Adar nodded happily as Caleb blushed. ”Not like you and Nyt are any better.” He mumbled.
(Im rereading this entire thing and holy crow my writing style was so bad at the beginning.)
Abby’s smile grew at Adar’s casual admittance of their actions. ”No, we're not.” she giggled. ”I just like teasing you about it.”
(I've reread this whole thing a couple of times too and it wasn't bad at all. I had never done a blind RP before this one and I remember worrying about how my character would turn out.)
Nyt chuckled. ”Its fine. We didn't spend our day in our room like you guys did anyway. If we did I'm sure that it would mess too.” She admitted.
Adar tilted his head slightly. ”Where did you go?”
”Nyt took me to meet Ava and Zara.” Abby smiled. ”It was a lot of fun and I actually learned a few things.”
"Oh! I know Ava. Whos Zara though?" Adar said.
"Wait! You know Ava? Ava Smyth?" Nyt asked, surprised as she helped tidy the room up.
