“I’m with Locke,” Alexander agreed, watching Chess with furrowed brows. “We need to formulate a plan. Do you guys remember anything useful about Wonderland that could help us?”
“I’m with Locke,” Alexander agreed, watching Chess with furrowed brows. “We need to formulate a plan. Do you guys remember anything useful about Wonderland that could help us?”
Chess turned around with his Ccheshire grin. "Nope. Nothin" he rolled his eyes. He obviously wasn't taking anything seriously. This was the first time in so long that anything interesting. He might as well stay with them.
Alexander frowned at Chess. He was doing his best to be polite to everyone, but this kid was getting on his nerves. He noticed a sign that he was standing in front of, turning to face it. There were two arrows with words written on either side. The one pointing towards the trees read "Wonderland Forest" and the other one read "Kingdom of Hearts." Alexander stepped back and studied it, trying to figure out which path would be the better option. "Look what I found," he said, turning to glance at the others.
As soon as Chess let go of her hand, Maddie took a long drink from the first thermos her fingers touched. That was too long a time in between. When Alexander pointed out the sign she smiled at him. ”Nice find, rabbit. From what I remember about the stories we should stay away from the Hearts Kingdom unless someone wants to lose their head.” she laughed.
Locke looked at the sign. He watched little words come off the sign. There were also other ghostly like signs on the post that pointed in direction such as ”House of the March Hare”, ”Queens croquet garden”, ”Garden”, and ”Queens palace”.
”I will agree with that. At least, not yet. Does anyone feel like they need to do something at the moment?” He asked. He had a theory that if they needed to do something that related to their characters then they would want to do it first.
“I have the weird urge that we should go towards the Hearts Kingdom or the Garden, but I’m guessing we should go in the opposite direction,” Alexander piped up. “Since the White Rabbit was working for the Queen of Hearts, that’s probably where we’ll run into her or her lackeys.”
Locke turned to Alex. “The Queen of Hearts isn't our enemy. The Jabberwocky is. We just need to be careful around her.“ He pointed out to him. “And remember, you are technically one of her lackeys so don't think of it as a bad thing.“
"Seems interesting. So which way are we gonna go? You kids made up your minds yet?" Chess shoved his hands in his pockets with a sigh, fidgeting with his lip ring with his tongue.
(Psst… Stark? Are you still here?)
“You’re one of ‘us kids’ too,” Alexander said to Chess, running his hand through his hair. “And I vote the Forest. We could maybe visit the Hare or something? The Queen may be partial to me, but the rest of you would probably be on the chopping block, so I think we should hold off on that for now.”
Locke nodded. ”The Queen isn't the biggest fan of the Mad Hatter or the Cheshire Cat so it would be wise to avoid her for now.” He said. ”I will vote for the forest as well.”
"Come on guys. What happened to having fun huh?" Chess says rolling his eyes.
Hopefully something crazy would happen. But for now, he was stuck with these boring lunatics.
”Hey, just cause you can disappear doesn't mean we can all risk our necks.” Maddie reminded with her mad smile. ”Besides I happen to like my head where it is. It might be fun to visit Marchie and the mouse.”
(I'm.here but idk what to do so I'm just reading)
(okay lol)
"oh? Snappy. I like it" He says to Maddie with his white cheshire grin. He turned around and started to walk into the forest as everyone agreed. Well he figured everyone did.
Locke let out a sigh of annoyance and began to follow Locke into the forest as well. He didn't like him too much but it seemed thato nothing could persuade him. "You do like cause trouble, don't you?" He asked as he caught up to him, pushing up his glasses.
"Troubles my middle name" He says with a wink. "Anyway, nice glasses pretty boy." He says sarcastically.
Locke gave him an unammussed glance out of the side of his eyes. "What's the point of a complement if it becomes negative with the tone?" Locke asked.
(AaAaaaAAAAAhhhhhh! I can't decide who to ship with Chess more! Maddie or Locke!)
(rotfl!!!!)
(Huehuehue)
"Here, I'll do it better this time" he says as a grin curved up his lightly tinted lips. He steps in front of him. "I like your glasses…pretty boy," he says then quickly turns around and continues to walk, humming to himself while he's at it.
Locke stopped abruptly when Chess stopped him. He had a slight look of shock on his face before Chess turned around. He stared off into space a bit, confused before catching back up to him. "That was slightly better." He said.
"Good. Though I was striving for perfection. Any tips?" He says biting his lip slightly as he walked.
Alexander rolled his eyes and kept walking. “So Thalia, you’ve been kind of quiet, what do you think?” he asked her conversationally.
"Not particularly. I'm not the best with complements either." Locke admitted.
"How booooring," he says tipping his head back and looking at the trees above them. He turned around and started to walk backward, facing Locke.
"So what's your name again? Sorry, I don't know how I managed to forget your name. Having such an attractive face and all. Though I guess I'm not the best with names.
Maddie had been watching the strange conversation only half paying attention as she kept up with the group. ”I don't remember it either. I’ve just been calling him Blue in my head.”
Locke gave Chess a look of irritation yet there was a barely visible blush on his face. "It's Locke." He said, running his thumb on a small metal stick. When did he get that?
"Oh wow. That's actually pretty cool for a name." He says grabbing a leaf from a nearby tree, twirling it in between his fingers.
(Sorry all, I left for a day. What's happened?)
(not much honestly. THeyre walking through the forest now and Locke and Chess had some sort of flirting….thing. Who nows what that was lol. But uh, yeah…..)
