“I had a reservation card for tonight as a last date type of thing before tomorrow and now I can’t find it. I’ve been wanting to go as a surprise for ages now but they’ve had a massive waiting list. They only accept the reservation card…” he glanced around the room, still trying to find it while still in Ethan’s hold. “How was work?” He asked softly, needing to calm himself down a bit.
Ethan stroked his back soothingly. "Work was fine love. Now, lets find this reservation card. Though I doubt it's in the laundry darling." He chuckled and kissed his forehead. "I'm sure we can find it."
He took a few breaths and leaned into Ethan. His anxiety had been through the roof for the past two weeks with last minute preparations and plans. He was grateful that Ethan was the calmer one in the situation, knowing he could always go to him for a breather and to relax. “I was checking the pockets, still nothing. I hope I didn’t throw it out…..” he glanced up at Ethan “they’re not giving you a longer leave are they?”
Ethan cupped his cheeks ge tly, caressing them with his thumbs. "No, just the week. But I was thinking over the sunner we could take a two week vacation to make up for it." He kissed his lips softly. "Now lets retrace your steps. Where's the last time you saw the card?"
He leaned into Ethan’s hand with a small smile “mmm, we can get a lot done in a week,” he murmured humming softly at the kiss. “I had it in my wallet at the beginning of the week and then I went over to Jeremy's house for a while on Wednesday for the tuxedo fitting. I still had it after I got home. I think I took it out and left it somewhere here but I can’t figure out where.”
"Have you checked your wallet yet? Knowing you, you could've just left it in there." Ethan teased. He pecked his lips befpre taking a step back
Raz’s glared up at him playfully and pulled out his wallet from his back pocket. He scanned through the cards and shook his head “nope, not there.” He spun in a circle, trying to remember where he had put the card. “Maybe it’s in the car, I haven’t checked there.”
Ethan chuckled. "Go look in the car then. I'll double check up here." He pusjed him slightly towards the door.
Raz nodded and eased out the door to the car, naming off places he hadn’t searched to Ethan
Ethan looked around the apartment, going through papers and draws.
Raz came back inside with a grin “found it!” He called, showing Ethan the card when he found him
Ethan smiled. "See, there was nothing to get worked up about was it?" He placed his hands on his hips.
“We’re not saved yet, reservation time is in an hour,” he put the card safely in his wallet
"Hey, you're the one that tales forever to get ready, not me." Ethan smirked.
“I do not! I just like to think through what I’m gonna wear.” He whined, crossing his arms and sticking his tongue out at Ethan
"Just put on the nicest clothes you have a book, all done." Ethan said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Raz sighed and shook his head “fine….” he went back to their bedroom and went through the drawers and closet, finally settling on a white button down shirt and some black pants.
Ethan stood there for a moment just chuckling amd shaking his head. He soon followed Raz to the bedroom and dressed in some slacks, a button up, and a vest over it. He slid on his dress shoes. "Are you ready my darling?"
Raz nodded and looked Ethan over "aren't you sexy," he mumured with a grin, taking Ethan's hand and pressing close to him
Ethan smirked and kissed his forehead. "You can last one more night my love." He teased. He looked Raz up and down. "Hold on." He went to the bathroom then appeared a moment later. He placed the flower crown on Raz's head. "Now we're ready."
"Can I?" he laughed and waited for Ethan to return. He blinked and smiled as he touched the flower crown on his head. He reached up and pressed a kiss to Ethan's cheek and took his hand, pulling him to the door
Ethan smiled. He kissed him quickly then followed him out the door. "We've waited this long, we can wait a day longer. Build up the anticipation. I plan on ravishing you thoroughly my love."
He blushed a deep red, which usually happened whenever they talked about their wedding night. He had grown more comfortable with the topic but was still a bit wary. "so you've told me since we've met."
Ethan smirked and chuckled softly. He tucked his fiance against his side. "Relax love. I won't do anything you're not comfortable with."
“I know, thank you.” He smiled up at Ethan gratefully and laced their hands together “I’m yours love to do what you want with.” He kissed their laced hands
Ethan kissed the top of his head. He opened the passanger door to the car and held it open for Raz.
Raz got in with a nod and pulled out his phone to starlet looking up the address for the restaurant.
Ethan slid into the driver's seat and started the car. He started driving, relying on Raz for directions.
“Alright, turn left.” He said, motioning to the street they were about to come up on
Ethan nodded and took a left turn. As soon as they got there, he parked the car. He opened the door for Raz, but not without giving him a kiss first.
