"Why how interesting" chess smiled as he swung his legs back and forth in the tree.

“Maybe it’s fate?” Alexander squeaked, glancing up at Chess as well. He was a bit of a believer in fate, despite being a mostly practical person.

"Fate? yeah okay" Chess rolled his eyes.

"Maybe, I'm Thalia, not close to Alice." She laughed

Alexander glanced away, narrowing his eyes. “So anyway, what do you think we’re supposed to do now?” he asked, trying to get back to the topic.

”No idea!” Maddie exclaimed happily with a mad sounding giggle.

"You're insane." Chess laughed a little now laying on his back on the branch, looking back from Maddie to the leaves and the sky.

Locke looked between the two. "It's seems both of you two are. Anyways, the letter said when we got together, we would be able to go." He said.

”Why, thank you both for noticing.” Maddie gave a sweeping bow, even taking her hat off. ”But if we're going to actual Wonderland then aren't we all?” she asked as she straightened up and tossed her hat into the air and catching it on top of her head, effortlessly.

Alexander sighed, not liking the idea that he could be mad as well. "I suppose," he admitted. "Maybe we're all a bit mad. When the letter said together, did it mean that we have to be touching? Like standing in a circle, kumbayah style?"

Thalia sighed and stood up. "Its worth a shot."

Alexander copied her, brushing himself off quickly. He brushed a loose strand of his messy caramel hair out of his eyes, then adjusted his glasses before taking one of Thalia's hands, feeling kind of dumb.

Maddie smiled at the others and very gently took Alex’s other hand. ”Chess, get down here and see if this works with us. We can't go anywhere without everyone here.”

"Would we need to hold the letters? Or have our tattoos showing?" Thalia asked, frowning

“We can try that if just standing in a circle or whatever doesn’t work?” Alexander suggested.

Chess sighed and jumped down easily with a smirk and walked up to everyone. "Guess im needed. Anyway, lets get this started shall we?"

“We shall,” Alexander replied with a small smirk, mimicking Chess a bit. He wasn’t sure how to feel about the others, to be honest.

Thalia shrugged and looked tentatively at the five of them standing in a circle with their hands joined. And outsider most probably thought they were witches or in a cult.

Maddie had an ecstatic grin as they all held hands, waiting to see if this was the right way when she winced at a slight familiar pain in her head. ”We should close our eyes and hold on tight. The fall might be safer that way.”

“Fall?” Alexander asked, panicking a bit. The word was barely out of his mouth when he felt a pressure at his temples, building up. He squeezed his eyes shut as the world become brighter and brighter until everything was just light. He felt a strange falling sensation, like he was on a rollercoaster that dipped down quickly before he could prepare himself.

The next thing Alexander knew, he was opening his eyes to see an incredible landscape he had never seen before. The colors were more vibrant than should be possible, and the air even tasted fresher, crisper, almost sweet. It was a scene straight out of Alexander’s dreams. A curving dirt path led into a forest of pink, purple, blue, and many other colored trees on one side and over a hill out of sight on the other.

Locke was skeptical when he grabbed the others hands but that soon disappeared as they started to fall. Locke closed his eyes calmly as he began to fall. It didn't bother him much surprisingly. He opened his eyes again when he felt the ground.
Locke looked around at his surroundings studying them. Names of different things starting flying into his head as he looked at him. He realized that his companions were also wearing different clothing. He looked down at himself seeing new clothes as well.
Locke was wearing black suit pants and top with a blue tie. A long blue suit coat also adorned him as well as a black top hat with a blue ribbon around it. His shoes were black boots that fit with his outfit.
"This is amazing." Locke said looking around, a gentle smile on his face. "Though the names of everything are quite ridiculous."

(I'm grabbing the idea from the first and changing outfits if that's alright!)

Thalia let out a slight yelp once they started falling and opened her eyes. Her outfit had changed from a simple white shirt and jeans she was now wearing a light blue and white halter top with a black jacket, light blue skirt, a pair of black boots and a small light brown leather bag with the print of a basket on it. "Woah!" She said, looking at herself.

Chess didn't particularly want to hold anyone's hand, but alas…he had to. He grabbed onto Maddie's hand rather tightly as they fell. He forgot who's another hand he held. He was more comfortable with Maddie anyway. He felt the falling sensation as his feet became lighter. Along with the rest of his body.
He opened his eyes and looked around, still holding Maddie's hand unknowingly. If he did, he would have let go.
He looked around at the scenery, just like how it was in his dream. He looked down at his white button-up shirt, the sleeves rolled up to right below his elbow and nice black jeans with his white and black checkered converse. Again, nothing new. It was exactly what he was wearing from before. And not to his surprise either.

Alexander saw everyone’s outfits and realized that he was wearing new clothing as well. He glanced down to see an old-fashioned white overcoat with a white vest and long-sleeved shirt underneath, and light brown pants with slighter darker brown boots. A slightly rusted gold pocket watch hung from his overcoat.

“Well this is interesting,” he remarked to the others, taking everything in.

Maddie was barely able to hold back from whooping like she was on a roller coaster as she fell, but she didn't want to make things weirder yet. Plus, she needed to hold it together until the landing. Once she finally felt solid ground under her, her eyes became as big as saucers at the amazing view. ”This is prettier than my dreams.” she smiled before looking at everyone. ”Nice costume change, guys! Wow! And I don't look half bad either.” she noticed that she was now wearing the same colorful ensemble as her animated Disney counterpart, including the slightly oversized hat, only a bit more feminine in some regards.

“So which way should we go?” Alexander asked, logical as always as he took in their new surroundings. He mentally went through all of the possible situations.

Chess let go of Maddie's hand and started walking down the path without a word. Yeah he was pretty interested in what they were going to be doing here. But he was just going to explore for a bit.

Locke looked at Chess as he began to walk off. "I wouldn't do that. Wonderland is new and we don't know what to expect." He said to him, but didthe try to stop him.
