(I think that was already a thing on Youtube. Let me try to explain why and how it's affecting YT in a nutshell: Basically, a new COPPA law was passed recently (because of a stupid lawsuit) and now any large youtube channel that is monetized with any youtube videos that are aimed at kids or are "too mature" are not only demonetized (which means Youtube takes 90% of their money they make off of that video), but the creator is also fined thousands of dollars per video)
