(Something like: Students, we would like to inform you of a upcoming test….. you could use that if you want but add some more stuff.)

(Who knows… maybe just say your character tuned into an announcement over the intercom that told them about a thingo and then explain it later at the actual thingo. Did that make sense?)

As the students left their rooms for break, and students went to meet their friends. The intercom went off, “Students, we would like to inform you about an upcoming test. Your second period teachers will go into more detail about this test. Thank you.”
