Sorin scanned the shelves again and beamed once his eyes landed on the yeast. They were at the top of the shelf, though it didn't take much effort for him to reach it due to his height. He set it into the cart before he went to retrieve a large carton of eggs and a gallon of milk. He had urge to pull out the picture in his pocket, but decided against it when he realized who he was walking with. He led Cas to the snack isle and held his arm out to the array of sweets on the shelf. "You're welcome to choose what you like. But not too much though. I wouldn't want you getting cavities."

@Fraust

"Ooh…" Cas looked up, distracted and intrigued by the bright colors of the sweets. Although he couldn't read the names of anything, the pictures gave him a pretty good idea of what was inside the colorful, shiny packages. "What do you think I'd like?"

@Fraust

"I know, but I've never had any of these before. I don't know what I'd like." Cas stood on his toes to see the sweets better.

@Bananapudding

Sorin smiled at him sympathetically and searched for sweets he thought he would like. A large bag of Oreos caught his eye as well as the bag of Swedish Fish below it. "What about these? Do they look appealing to you?"

@Bananapudding

"I'll take that as a yes," he said with a small chuckle then put the bag of Oreos into the cart. "That should be all for right now… I think."

@Fraust

"We probably should've made a list… I would've, but I barely know how to write anything." Cas looked down into their cart.

@Bananapudding

"Yeah, that would've been a better idea…" he stopped and stood behind a line of people, a part of him hoping they wouldn't look back at them. "And I'm always ready to start lessons again when you're ready."

@Fraust

Cas sighed a bit, gripping Sorin's hand tighter. "I don't think I'll ever be ready to, but I probably should…"

By the time they were all done, the two had received a few glares once the customers realized who they were standing in front of. Sorin ignored them and began putting the items on the conveyor belt.

@Fraust

"Why are they looking at us like that?" Cas asked quietly, looking back at the people with a confused expression.

@Fraust

Cas turned his ears back, whimpering almost inaudibly and turning away from the people. He never let go of Sorin's hand.

Once he finished paying, Sorin quickly grabbed the bags and led the both of them out of the store. The last thing he needed was for another fight to break out because someone decided to approach them the wrong way. He handed Cas one of the smaller bags before picking him up.

@Fraust

Cas held onto the bag tightly, not wanting to lose anything. He glanced up at Sorin to wait for them to take off, no longer paying attention to his surroundings.

@Fraust

Cas closed his eyes, still not a big fan of seeing the ground from this high up. He just kept quiet and held tight to his bag.

@Bananapudding

Sorin was thankful he arrived home with Cas safely and not for the reason of him being hurt this time. He made his way inside their house and set the bags down, along with Cas soon after.

@Fraust

Cas set his own bag on the counter with the others when he was put down. After that, he opened them up and started trying to help put them away.

@Bananapudding

Sorin almost told him to not bother helping him and to just rest until he was finished, but a part of him appreciated the fact that he had done so in the first place. He put the bags away in a mostly empty drawer before he continued putting the items in their places.

@Fraust

Cas hugged Sorin from behind when they'd finished putting the groceries away, his tail flicking from side to side. "I love you…"
