Roman smiled and nodded. "Alright," he agreed warmly. "I'd rather stay here too for a bit."
Roman smiled and nodded. "Alright," he agreed warmly. "I'd rather stay here too for a bit."
Virgil hesitated before tentatively reaching up one hand to toy with Roman's hair. It was soft like his own, which didn't surprise him.
Roman closed his eyes. Virgil playing with his hair was deeply relaxing, and it felt great. His cheeks were tinted pink but it wasn't visible in the faintly lit room.
Virgil relaxed when Roman didn't reject his touch and kept going. "Do you like that, princey?"
"Mhm," he took his arm from behind his head and laid it on his stomach. "Keep doing it, please."
"Alrighty." Virgil dragged his fingers through Roman's hair, feeling calmed by it as well. He twirled a lock of hair around his finger and let it unravel.
Roman let out a happy sigh. He just wanted to stay here, forever, with Virgil, cuddling and sleeping together, but he knew he couldnt, so he savored the moment happily.
"Do you ever wear hoodies?" Virgil asked out of the blue, still playing with Roman's hair.
"No, I'm afraid not," Roman said, his eyes still closed. "I've never even tried one on."
"You should. Then I could steal them. I'm pretty sure that's a dating people thing." Virgil hummed.
"Hm. Maybe I will." Roman waved his hand and fashioned a hoodie out of the air. He didn't put it on yet but he layed it on top of himself like a blanket. "It is quite cozy. I see why you like them."
Virgil nodded, gently touching the hoodie with his free hand. "It's nice. Not the color I typically wear, but I still like it."
"We should swap hoodies." Roman suggested. "I could wear yours and you could wear mine. That's a kind of dating thing, right?"
"Sure." Virgil took the hoodie and went into the bathroom to change, not quite comfortable enough to show off his scarred body yet. He came out wearing Roman's hoodie, which was a bit big for him. "Your turn." He tossed his own hoodie at Roman.
Roman caught it and changed into it quickly. "It's so warm!" He hugged himself, holding in the warmth. "How do you like mine?" He asked.
"I like it." Virgil turned in a circle to examine himself. The hoodie was red and white, which again, wasn't his normal style, but it was nice anyways. "Mine's kinda old, sorry. I wear it all the time."
Roman shrugged, the corners of his mouth turned up. "That just makes it even more special." He stood up. "Let's go show Patton and Logan. If you're ready, of course."
"Okay." Virgil went over to Roman and hesitantly reached out to hold his hand. He glanced up at Roman to see if he was okay with it.
Roman looked at him and nodded, entwining their fingers tightly.
Virgil let Roman lead him downstairs to where Patton and Logan were.
"Oh. My. God. You two are adorable!!" Patton squealed upon seeing them, hitting Logan's arm to get his attention.
Roman flushed bright pink. "What can I say, his hoodie is really comfortable."
Logan turned around. "Very cute," he said, mostly going along with it for Patton's sake. Though they did look adorable.
Virgil blushed as well, staying quiet and close to Roman after he muttered a 'thanks'. "I didn't know you wore hoodies, Roman!" Patton grinned, making breakfast.
Roman shrugged. "It's new. Not my usual style, but very comfortable and warm. Especially since it's Virgil's." He glanced over at Virgil, grinning.
Virgil just silently nodded and fidgeted with the sleeves of Roman's hoodie. "Well, I'm making muffins this morning. What kind would you like?"
"Banana nut, please." He lead Virgil to the couch and sat down, squeezing Virgil's hand . "Would you like to try and eat one?" He asked, tilting his head.
"I'm okay…" Virgil huddled up against Roman's side, hugging his stomach. "I had cookies yesterday."
Roman frowned. "That's hardly enough, but we can try again later, okay?" He soothed softly.
Virgil nodded and put his hood up. "I'm… I'm trying, but I can't keep it down…"
"I know." He pressed his head against Virgil's. "It's not your fault. We'll go a bit at a time, until eventually you can eat normally, okay?"
He nodded again. "It kinda is my fault, though, but now I can't even control it…"
