"Always…" He murmured, keeping close to Sorin for warmth.
"Always…" He murmured, keeping close to Sorin for warmth.
"You do know we have to leave for groceries, right? Get as much sleep as you can."
"Ugh, shopping… g'night, I guess." Cas sighed and closed his eyes, soon drifting off into a light sleep.
"Goodnight, Cas…" Sorin stayed with him for a while and after some time, went off to go upstairs.
Cas stirred when Sorin moved, blearily opening his eyes. "Mmm…" He sat up and yawned, looking around to see where Sorin went.
He had taken another quick shower before he went out to lay out clothes for him and Cas. His mind occasionally wandered to how he was nearly caught in a lie with him, but he pushed down those thoughts and focused on picking clothes he thought Cas would like.
"Sorin?" Cas called out nervously, getting to his feet. "You there?"
"Yeah, i'm upstairs!" he called as he began putting on his own clothes.
Cas relaxed a bit, but he was still tense until he went upstairs and actually saw Sorin. "What're you doing?"
"Putting on my clothes?" He chuckled softly and threw on a grey sweatshirt. "I thought I would set up some of your clothes out for you for when you wake up."
Cas nodded. "Thanks." He went over to the pile Sorin had made and pulled on the clothes.
"I took a guess as to what you'd like to wear," he took a quick glance at him then averted his gaze. "But I could always get you some other clothes, if you'd like."
"This is fine. I'm not too picky." Cas shrugged. "Ready to get groceries?"
Sorin made his way over to the drawers, rummaging through them in search of the picture. "Yeah, yeah i'm ready," he mumbled then shoved the small photo in his pocket before closing the drawer.
Cas took Sorin's hand to walk outside. "Do you want to fly?"
"Oh absolutely. I hate walking," he lifted Cas and wrapped his legs around his waist. He kept a steady grip on him before flying, but part of him was still anxious that he was at risk for sliding off. Sorin held him tighter, keeping his eyes on the ground below him while occasionally glancing at the other.
Cas kept his arms wrapped around Sorin's neck for stability, seeming calm enough. "How far away is the store?"
"Not that far," he replied. "It's about five minutes away from where we are, but the distance is cut short from flying."
"Sounds good, love." Cas fell quiet, occasionally looking down at the ground.
It didn't take that long for them to arrive as Sorin caught a glimpse of the large, green and white building. His grip on Cas had tightened as they descended and the sight of onlookers looking up at them didn't surprise him.
"Let's hope this outing ends better than the last one." Cas sighed, looking around at the small crowd of people watching them.
"Don't worry. If anything happens, I'll make sure you don't get hurt this time," he placed a hand on his shoulder and led him inside the store, briefly glancing at the crowd.
Cas nodded, letting Sorin steer him. He seemed a little uneasy, but he felt safer with Sorin by his side.
Sorin grabbed a cart and held Cas's hand to keep him close as he ambled toward the array of fruits and vegetables.
Cas stayed close to Sorin, trying his best to ignore any stares they received.
He pulled out a small bag, picking at a few things he thought he needed and threw them into the cart. A part of him wanted to use this as an opportunity to see if he could look for said person for Shen. Though, he knew he couldn't do so without leaving Cas on his own. Sorin shook the thought away and continued grabbing more items. Maybe some other time, he thought.
"What all are we getting, love?" Cas asked, looking around curiously.
"A few things to cook with, maybe bake, as well as a few other things…"
"Alrighty." He hummed. "Need me to help you find anything?"
"You don't need to," he turned a flashed him a small smile. "But thank you."
