The figure started to sink and Orion saw his chance and he took it. Swimming down deeper and deeper to the figure, he saw something else swimming towards it. The same siren from all of those months ago. He quickly tried to swim towards the figure but the siren was closer than him in the first place. It snarled at him as it's yellow eyes pierces his. It's long blonde hair floating around its face as it looked at him. Orion took a deep breath before swimming towards the siren quickly, waving his hand in front of him sending a gush of water its way, pushing it back hitting a rock with a yelp of pain.
Kayla felt something near her but practically blind to the situation. She was able to get to the surface for a small moment before she was abruptly pushed under again
The siren lifted her head and bulleted towards him with a snarl, her jagged teeth shining at him as she snapped at him. A gush of water headed towards him as she did the same. Her sharp nails grazed over his chest, leaving long slash marks over it. Wincing in pain, he quickly got over the pain. As she tried to grab ahold of him, he lunged forward, grabbing her hair and pulling her head backward. She quickly leaned back, like he wanted her to do and he grabbed her jaw, twisting it abruptly and snapping her neck. And with that, she floated down to the bottom.
He looked over to the figure sinking down that had fallen off of the ship. He quickly swam towards it, grabbing it and pulling it towards the surface that way he could kill it without anything else interfering. Once up, he set it down on a rock, about to snap it's neck when he recognized the face. It was the pirate that had saved him….
Kayla yelped when something grabbed her, cause for her to intake some water. Once Orion pulled her to the surface she began to cough violently as she tried to get the water out of her lungs. She looked up to see the siren she let go. $h!t!
He hovered over her to see if she was okay. Both of his arms on either side of her as the water droplets dripped from his hair onto her face as he looked at her.
Kayla stared back up at him, unsure of what to do. Did he just save her? Or was she going to be his meal like he tried to do last time? There was slight fear in her eyes. Part of it was of him and the other was of the storm that still raged.
"are you okay?" he says deciding to not eat her. It wouldn't set right with him if he did. After she had set him free. though her and her crew members did trap him in the first place. But he couldn't bring himself to.
”I…I guess?” Kayla said, trying to sit up a little. ”What are you doing here?” She asked.
"saving your ass that's what" He says leaning away from her as she sat up. He wanted to try to be nice but that just wasnt in his nature at the first or in this case, the second meet.
Kayla flinched slightly. "I meant what are you doing in this area. Don't you know this place is Pirates Heaven?" She asked. Pirates heaven was a section of passage way the was hard to get through but easy to abmush.
"Well duh. This is a good place for a meal or two. Especially during storms" he says irritatedly with an eyeroll. Now that he was out of the water, blood started dripping down from the slashes on his chest.
Kayla went silent as she looked at his chest. "What happened?" She asked. "Those look pretty bad."
"Well i ran into another siren trying to save you. Well…i was going to eat you before i saw who you were"
He says looking down at his chest.
"It was rabid. Not to my surprise"
Kayla tensed up when he said he was going to eat her. She put her hand on her neck, remembering how he did put his hands around her neck. She shook off the fear a bit. He wouldn't do it now, would he? "What are you going to do with it?" She asked not sure how he would treat his wound.
"Live with it. It's not that bad" he says with a shrug as the blood trickled down his chest more. His blood had a little tinge of gold in it as it bled out if his wound. He was used to things like this. The only bother was, the fact that is was probably going to scar.
Kayla blinked a few times when she began to watch gold come out. "You're…bleeding gold." She said, dumbfounded. Were they supposed to do that?
My blood is red and gold…so yes. Actual gold flows in sirens veins. thus why we're hunted all of the time. Well….one of the reasons.
"What?" Kayla asked. "Why would you have gold running through your veins?"
"its a siren thing. Like i would care to know more about that" He says rolling his eyes annoyingly.
He turned back to her, ignoring the blood and the pain in his chest.
"So did you just fall off of the ship? Or did you try to kill yourself?"
"I let go of the rope I had been holding onto and a wave hit st the same momment. I'm surprised I'm the only one the fell off." She said as she wiped her hair out of her face.
"Well the ships pretty far away, how do you plan on getting back?"
He asks her looking back at he ship in the distance, then back at Kaya.
Kayla looked at the ship as it thrashed in the storm. "I…don't know. Most people who fall off of ships in a storm like this don't live this long."
"Well if that's the case I can kill you now…right?" He asks her with a little grin.
Kayla moved away from him. "Uhh…no thanks!" She said, not completely sure I'd he was joking or not. I mean, he had tried to lure her to her death before.
"Fine….well do you want me to help you back to the ship?" He asks deciding to be nice. Though he would plan to kill the other members of the ship when he did. Though he wouldn't let her know that.
Kalya nodded. "But probably not now. After the storm." She said before shivering. The rain and wind were making her extremely cold.
"Okay. Well do you like fish? I can get you something to eat" he says sliding into the water a little bit.
