"I'm not sure… I mean I'd be happy to be here all day…" Milo said quietly with a little smile. His face lit up a little more. "We could maybe possibly go suit shopping for Homecoming! I don't think I own a suit…"
"I'm not sure… I mean I'd be happy to be here all day…" Milo said quietly with a little smile. His face lit up a little more. "We could maybe possibly go suit shopping for Homecoming! I don't think I own a suit…"
“That sounds absolutely wonderful,” Hunter immediately agreed, smiling brightly at his soulmate, “I actually need a new suit too, my old one got ripped when it accident got caught on my closet door.” Plus, I certainly wouldn’t mind watching you model clothes…
Milo cuddled a little closer to Hunter, "Great!" He said with excitement. Although he was excited to go, he made no effort to leave, almost purposely staying. Why not stay? They had all day and it was perfect at that moment.
Hunter chuckled, then pressed a kiss into Milo’s soft hair. He was just so cute. His soulmate made him happier than he could’ve imagined. It really made him realize how important someone’s soulmate could be. “I love you,” He mumbled softly into Milo’s hair, wanting to say that simple phrase as many times as he could to Milo.
"I love you too~" Milo murmured into Hunter's neck. It is such a simple phrase, but it holds so much meaning. Somehow three words have such an impact on people and Milo loved it so much.
Hunter smiled, pressing another kiss onto his soulmates his before making him pull away and slide off the bed. He immediately regretted it as Milo’s warmth left him, but he knew that if they planned on going out it was better to get on top of things early so they could have all afternoon to themselves.
Milo whimpered as Hunter left the bed, the warmth going along with him. He curled up, pulling the blankets up tight around himself. He looked at Hunter and smiled, but he wished they were still cuddling.
“C’mere or I might end up jumping right back into that bed with you,” Hunter said with a chuckle, reaching out his hand for Milo to take. “We might never end up getting out of this room if you keep looking so darn cute like that.”
Milo sighed slightly and took Hunter's hand. He got out of the bed and stood up next to Hunter. "Oh man, I just realized that you wore that yesterday and all of my clothes are too small for you…" He said softly, looking up at him.
“Oh,” Hunter frowned as he looked down at himself. Sure, it would be fine for maybe an hour or two but the clothes would probably start smelling bad if he waited much longer. “I guess the shirt’s an easy fix,” Hunter joked softly as he tugged his shirt over and off his head with a teasing wink. “But I can’t exactly do the same with my pants.”
A small rush of color went to Milo's cheeks, but he couldn't stop a smile either. "We could do a quick pit stop at your house before we continue into town if you want to," Milo said, still pretty softly. He really wished he could have said just to borrow his father's clothes, but that… wasn't really an option.
“Alright, that sounds like a plan,” Hunter said, leaning in the peck Milo’s lips before pulling away and slipping his shirt back on. He ran his hand through his hair a couple times, “Do I look okay?” He asked, because if he couldn’t get a fresh set of clothes the least he could do would be to make sure his face looked decent. He wanted to make a good impression in case he were going to meet Milo’s family.
"Always," Milo said, actually very seriously. He definitely did believe that with his whole heart. He smiled and finally got up. He immediately clung to Hunter. "You can go and meet my mom if you want, she's probably in the kitchen. I need to get ready real quick so I'll be there soon."
“Alright, sounds wonderful,” Hunter said with a gentle smile and kissed Milo’s head sweetly. He didn’t particularly feel like leaving Milo’s side since he was just so darn adorable, but Hunter reminded himself not to be too overbearing. He made himself pull away, but kissed Milo’s cheek one more time before departing from the room.
Milo smiled and closed the door behind Hunter. He quickly changed his clothes and made the bed. His mother was out in the kitchen, she heard the door open and close and she expected to see Milo. "Goodmorning dear, how did you sleep last-" She turned around and saw Hunter instead. "Oh! Uhm, hello." Milo then walked in with a big smile.
"Hello, mom! Good morning!"
Hunter squared his shoulders, “Hello. My name is Hunter,” He greeted, smiling brightly. “I’m sorry to appear out of no where, I hope you’ll forgive me.” He wanted to make a good impression on Milo’s mom, and prayed his sudden appearance in their home wasn’t too bad.
"Nice to meet you, Hunter! I'm Milo's mother, as you probably already know, you can call me Olivia if you would like." She gave him a huge smile, happy to finally meet her son's soulmate. "I don't mind actually, you're forgiven, no need to worry dear!" She beamed at him then gave Milo a hug and continued to make breakfast. The whole time Milo had a smile almost bigger than his face could take, after all, he was looking at his two favorite people in the world, why wouldn't he?
Hunter smiled back at her, glancing at his soulmate. His smile only widened at seeing Milo’s smile because gosh darn he was the cutest thing in existence, wasn’t he? Hunter knew in that moment, he would do whatever Milo wanted him to do. He would buy him whatever he wanted, he would take him wherever he wanted to go… Hunter moved so his hand could find Milo’s, smiling softly at his wonderful soulmate…
Milo happily gripped Hunter's hand, lacing their fingers and looking lovingly into Hunter's eyes. After a minute, maybe two, Milo turned to his mom, "Hey mom, we're going out to town and probably won't be back for a bit. So I'll see you later, love you!" He said as he gave his mom a peck on the cheek.
"Goodbye, dear. Have fun you two!"
Milo waved to his mom and lead Hunter outside.
“See you later, Ms. Hill,” Hunter said with a bright smile, happily leaving with Milo. Once the exited the apartment, he glanced at Milo, “You think she likes me?” He asked a little self-conciously, but smile nonetheless as he walked out towards his car.
"Oh I think she loves you! Ever since I told her about finding my soulmate she's been super excited to meet you and I see no reason she wouldn't like you, you're perfect." Milo explained, still over joyed.
Hunter grinned, opening the car door for Milo when they got there. “I’m glad,” Hunter slid into the car at the driver’s seat, “I was a bit worried about making a good first impression.” Hunter chuckled, waiting for Milo before starting the car and beginning to drive it out of the parking lot.
"Well, even if you did, she's a pretty forgiving person," Milo said before leaning on Hunter's shoulder. He looked out the window and watched everything go by. He was really excited. Well, of course he was, spending more time with Hunter was always great.
Hunter smiled, taking his eyes off the road for just a second to kiss the top of Milo’s head. It wasn’t long before he made it back to his house and pulled in the driveway. “A you want to wait in the car? I’ll only be a minute if you’d like to just stay here,” Hunter offered with a smile.
"Yeah, I'll stay here. Don't let your sister bully you about this okay?" Milo said with a soft laugh. He gave Hunter a peck on the cheek then sat up so he could get out.
Hunter chuckled, smiling a little, “It’s only a matter of time before she starts teasing you too. She probably already thinks of you as her second brother.” He leaned in to give Milo one last kiss on the head before sliding out of the car. Hunter snuck into his house, noticed his foster parents in the living room watching a cooking show of some sort. He quietly walked to his room, grateful for not being noticed. He quickly changed into a simple green shirt and jeans, giving himself a once over before tiptoeing out of his room. Hunter found his sister outside his door, giving him a suggestive look. He pointedly frowned at her, hissing softly, “Before you say anything, you know I don’t want to do that kind of stuff yet.”
Hannah just chuckled softly, “Alright alright, grumpy pants, go have fun with your boyfriend already.” Hunter rolled his eyes at her, sneaking back outside to his car and slipping in right next to Milo again with a smile.
"You're right, that was fast! Did your family say anything?" Milo asked with a smile as he leaned on Hunter again.
Hunter chuckled, “Wendy and Carl didn’t notice, for once.” Hunter put the car into drive and pulled out of the driveway. “Hannah stopped me for a quick second, but I got out of there before she could say much,” Hunter added with a laugh, but one arm around Milo as he drove.
Milo laughed a little, "That's good I suppose." He let his head rest on Hunter's shoulder with a smile. "So where to first?"
“Would you like to go to the mall? We could get food there, and go shopping?” Hunter offered with a smile. Though he was already driving in the mall’s general direction, he had no qualms with turning around if Milo would want to go somewhere else first.
